Dhirendra Krishna Garg, also known as Bageshwar Baba, comes from a family of priests, and his grandfather was the head priest. Bageshwar Dham, located in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district, has become a major spiritual hub. His image is everywhere—on walls, posters, road signs, and merchandise in the bustling temple marketplace.

When asked about his growing popularity, he simply says, “Because more people believe in God!”—a statement met with cheers and applause. He also speaks about the absence of a dedicated nation for Hindus, unlike those for Muslims or Jews, and advocates for greater recognition of Hindu identity.

Bageshwar Dham’s rapid expansion has transformed the once-small village into a thriving spiritual and commercial centre. With thousands of homestays, shops, and businesses emerging, the region has seen a surge in visitors and residents alike. While acknowledging the economic growth, Baba emphasises the need for cleanliness and self-sufficiency within the community.

On matters of faith and identity, he calls for unity among Hindus worldwide and envisions a future where India becomes a refuge for Hindus facing persecution elsewhere. While maintaining that he has no issue with other religions, he asserts the importance of preserving Sanatan Dharma and ensuring a place where Hindus can freely practise their beliefs.

00:00We want this country to be a place for Hindus all over the world.
00:14This is your village, right? You grew up here.
00:16I was born here. My grandfather was born here.
00:19Your photo is everywhere I look.
00:22This was the most difficult task in my grandfather's life.
00:26The most difficult task in the world is to become a teacher in the village where you were born.
00:32And the amazing thing in our life is that we made the teachers who taught us, our disciples.
00:42What knowledge do you give them when you come to them?
00:45Our goal is related to life. How do we live a happy life?
00:49There is a lot of crowd, there are people, there is a lot of noise.
00:52Some abuse, some say good, some say bad, some say good, some say bad.
00:56Some give clothes, some give papers.
00:59We learn the art of smiling in the midst of that.
01:02We taught them this.
01:04They teach bookish knowledge, we teach practical.
01:10Five years ago, this was a very small village.
01:12There was a place.
01:14Now it has become like a city. So many people are coming.
01:17Where the practice is strong, the practice itself is strong.
01:20Do you take care of this place? Do you clean it?
01:24We try. There is also a village panchayat.
01:27And people have their own homestays.
01:29Everyone has hotels.
01:31People rent shops here.
01:33Villagers have land.
01:35So they have their own topics.
01:37They have made their own hotels.
01:39They also do it on their own.
01:41Because the dham is known as a service by the name of Bageshwar Balaji.
01:47So you have to be very careful.
01:49When people come, many people do not clean.
01:53Then it is your responsibility to clean it.
01:55I was talking to a few servants.
01:57They were saying that you see that at least this dham is cleaned.
02:01This is the reason behind it.
02:03Because as long as we do not take care of the purity of thoughts and thoughts,
02:07as long as we do not take care of the purity of thoughts and thoughts,
02:09it is very difficult to be pure and clean.
02:12Your face is everywhere.
02:14This is not your shop.
02:16It is not ours.
02:18But people have their own land.
02:20They have their own hotels.
02:22They have homestays.
02:23So everyone sells in their own shops.
02:25Yes, there are about 1000 homestays here.
02:28The village has employment.
02:30People from outside have bought houses here.
02:32People from outside have bought flats here.
02:34There is a lot of flatting here.
02:37People from outside have to stay here.
02:39There are about 2000-3000-4000 permanent residents here.
02:43There are about 1000 shops.
02:45There are about 1200 autos.
02:47And all this happened in 5 years?
02:49It happened slowly.
02:50I cannot say it happened in 5 years.
02:52I cannot say it happened at a particular time.
02:54Because I have been sitting here for 16 years.
02:56Why do you think that so much has happened after 2018?
02:59I don't think so.
03:00People think so.
03:01We already know that humans do not do anything in life.
03:05God does everything.
03:07It is not because of us.
03:09We are not a part of it.
03:11We are just a devotee.
03:13We are just following our Guru's tradition.
03:16We are just following our tradition.
03:18So why?
03:20Why did so much happen after 2018?
03:23What do you think?
03:25It is because of people's hard work.
03:28It is because of people's devotion.
03:30It is because of people's faith.
03:32It is because of their faith and God's grace.
03:34There are many temples in India.
03:36There are many places where people's faith is connected.
03:39People's faith is connected.
03:41People's faith is connected.
03:43Till yesterday, there were very few people in Ayodhya.
03:46But after the construction of Ram Mandir,
03:48lakhs of people came.
03:50You are saying that this is like Ram Mandir?
03:52You cannot say that.
03:53But Lord Hanuman is like us.
03:55Ram Mandir is a different subject.
03:57For example, Ram Mandir is Ram Mandir.
04:00Bhageshwar Dham is Bhageshwar Dham.
04:02But for example, after the construction of Ram Mandir,
04:05there was high crowd,
04:07people from abroad came.
04:09NRIs came.
04:11Darshanartiyas came from every part of the country.
04:13So this had a big impact.
04:16This had a great impact.
04:18This is how Bhageshwar Dham is.
04:20People's faith increased.
04:21People's work succeeded.
04:22Lord Balaji blessed people.
04:24People came with their faith.
04:25He told someone.
04:26He told someone else.
04:28People came.
04:30So gradually, along with Sadhana, Sadhan started accumulating.
04:32As Sadhan started accumulating, people in the village started thinking about hotels.
04:37So they started working on this.
04:39Gradually, someone bought a flat, someone bought a house.
04:42Gradually, it was flourishing.
04:43Our only connection is with temples and services.
04:47So when people come here, what happens?
04:50Like, how do they donate money?
04:54They do it with their own faith.
04:55You don't have anything in your bag.
04:56You give it away in the donation box.
04:57The story is over.
04:58But you don't ask for anything.
05:00Why would I ask for anything?
05:01It's not necessary to get anything by asking.
05:05People give with their own faith.
05:07And what you give goes with your own faith.
05:09And what you take goes with your own faith.
05:10If we take, it will be a fee.
05:12If we ask, it will be a fee.
05:14You don't give anything even to meet people, right?
05:16I haven't taken anything yet.
05:18Will you?
05:19I haven't made any such plans yet.
05:21But if people like you come, I will try.
05:23Hahahahahahaha..
05:25People think that if they come on vacation,
05:28then why doesn't India travel in India?
05:32There are a lot of places in India
05:34where people should go for festivals and picnics.
05:38The biggest problem is that people from India don't present India.
05:42This far-off place, Suhamna.
05:44People often have a belief and people dislike that belief.
05:48But their train often leaves
05:50close to the railways station.
05:52This is the condition of the people of India, because India has spirituality, India has temples, India has hills, India has rivers, India has sadhna and sadhana.
06:04But the brain of the people of India quickly gets gilded in the name of the British and the British and the foreigners.
06:10Now we have four British sitting here, open the fan of Baba, it's amazing.
06:13In four British, their mind starts working in a different way.
06:17India's eyes fell on us when we went to London.
06:21This is the spirituality of India, this is the spirituality of Kunthit.
06:24We are not much happier than this.
06:26That's why somewhere in this, the biggest thing of your and our ideology is the ideological revolution.
06:31Like we are in Bundelkhand, so we talk about our Bundelkhand.
06:34We have Khajuraho, we have Jatashankar, we have Bhimkunde, we have Datiya, we have Mayyar.
06:39And we want that we have very good forts, we have very good Panna Tiger Reserve.
06:45But the people of India will like London, Switzerland.
06:50We have places here too, but the biggest reason is that it is far away.
06:54So the habit of seeing India, it is full of thoughts.
06:59So it will take a lot of time, but there will be gradual changes.
07:03That's why we always give a logic that we don't want a revolution of swords, we want a revolution of thoughts in this country.
07:09The way SSP Prime Minister is presenting India, he is presenting it in an amazing way.
07:15And we are very proud of him.
07:18We are honest people.
07:20There is one thing in our life that no matter who you are, whatever we want to say, we say it.
07:25And this SSP Prime Minister who is doing it for India.
07:28You may have gone abroad.
07:30So today's situation in foreign countries and the situation ten years ago, the respect of India was in a strange way.
07:36Now our India is such that when there is a war between Russia and Ukraine,
07:39the people of Pakistan also come out to save their lives.
07:45This is our India.
07:46So I felt very good.
07:47SSP Prime Minister has also accepted Tej Parwari.
07:50He gave his support in the biggest mission for Bundelkhand.
07:54He came and he worshipped the land.
07:56And very soon we are arranging medicine along with grace here.
08:00With the grace of Balaji and medicine, the cancer hospital was built.
08:05We are not a topic of any party.
08:07Our thoughts are of strict Sanatanism.
08:12But strict Sanatanism means we are not against Muslims.
08:16We are not against Christians.
08:17We are not against Jews.
08:19As far as any party is concerned, if any Indian really loves India,
08:25then no Indian can stand against us.
08:29Because we don't talk about treason.
08:31But we are talking about Hindu nation.
08:32Hindu nation is a legal thing.
08:35It is not illegal.
08:36It is a Hindu nation with a lot of logic.
08:38More than 65 countries can be Islamic.
08:40More than 95 countries can be for Christians.
08:44One can be a country of Jews.
08:46One can be a country of Buddhists.
08:47So a country where 1.5 billion Hindus live all over the world.
08:52So 1.5 billion Hindus can also be a country.
08:55Everyone will live here.
08:56We are not against anyone.
08:58Everyone will live here.
08:59Because Muslims also helped in liberating this country.
09:02Christians also helped.
09:04Their forefathers also helped.
09:07We are not against anyone.
09:09We accept Ram, Rahim, Raskhan.
09:13We also salute missile man Abdul Kalam.
09:15We are not against anyone.
09:17We are only fighting the 1.5 billion Hindus who live all over the world.
09:22We are only fighting our own people.
09:24And fighting our own people on the basis that
09:25Communists, Buddhists, or you call it secularism,
09:30or you call it a secular nation.
09:32We have nothing against it.
09:33We don't just want a Hindu nation on paper.
09:36We want a Hindu nation in people's hearts.
09:38What does it mean in people's hearts?
09:39In people's hearts, there is awareness about our Sanatan culture.
09:43And we want Hindus in this country,
09:46a country for Hindus all over the world.
09:49So that if Pakistan,
09:51Pakistan also has 2% Hindus.
09:53Suriname, Fiji, Mauritius, England,
09:56wherever Hindus live,
09:58if they are expelled,
09:59then India will welcome them with open arms.
10:03Why do you think India won't do this now?
10:06If India was doing this,
10:08if India was doing this,
10:10then the Hindus who were dying in Bangladesh,
10:12India would have opened the door immediately.
10:14That is why we want a Hindu nation.
