00:00the Knicks have been on par with most of the other teams in
00:03the East. I know they've struggled against some of the
00:05good teams right now. They're just hoping to just scratch out
00:08some wins before they get Jalen Brunson back. That was the case
00:10last night. They win 133 to 104 against the Sacramento Kings
00:15and a win Gilbert where they're just going to stay. We'll take
00:17it, you know, hanging on in the standings for dear life at this
00:20point, hoping that Brunson back over the next couple of weeks.
00:24Absolutely. You know, there's two sides of the coin with this
00:27Jalen Brunson injury, right? You never want your star
00:30player, your captain to go down with an injury like that.
00:32But if there's a team and any time for a team, who's curious
00:36about their depth and trying to get more out of their depth
00:38pieces. This is a way to figure out what you're made of. He
00:41looked Miles McBride stepped up and had a big game standing
00:44in for Jalen Brunson yesterday. Carl Anthony Towns, OG
00:47Ananobi big contribution specifically OG Ananobi as a
00:50distributor. So they do it on a Western Conference road trip.
00:53A lot of times you hear teams get closer when they're gone
00:56on the other side of the country for for 8, 9, 10 days.
00:59This is an opportunity for the Knicks to kind of figure out
01:02what they have, what they're made of and stay in that top
01:04three in the Eastern Conference as the playoffs roll around.
01:07We know it's going to be Cleveland at the top. We know
01:09it's Boston right behind it. Can New York hold off Milwaukee
01:12and those teams stay in that third seed and really kind of
01:15get some momentum going into the playoffs and get some more
01:19contributions from those depth pieces. So as long as I can get
01:22Jalen Brunson back into the lineup and that ankle injury
01:24isn't too serious. I think they can look at this injury
01:27opportunity is something that can get the most out of them
01:29or be a positive for them in the long run.
