00:00Hello, it's Martin Dempster, the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here. It's been quite a
00:09week for the Scottish game. A great win for Callum Hill, his second DP World Tour title
00:18triumph in the Joburg Open at Houghton Golf Club. The Scot came from eight shots behind
00:26heading into the final round, carding a brilliant 62 that got him into a play-off
00:33and he won that at the second extra hole. Hill landed his maiden win in the Kazoo Classic
00:44at the London Club in 2021. He then had some health issues the following season
00:53that certainly frustrated him but he's been patient. He was back to full health last year,
01:01didn't make it to the season ending DP World Tour Championship but decided to become a free agent
01:08over the winter. He checked out some different sets of clubs, different types of clubs
01:14and he certainly seems to have found something that suits him because the win lifted him up to
01:2411th in the race to Dubai this season and he's now got his sights set on one of the PGA Tour
01:33cards that are up for grabs on the European circuit this year. Also on Sunday, Bob McIntyre,
01:41the Scottish number one, he finished just outside the top 10 in the Arnold Palmer Invitational,
01:49the PGA Tour's latest signature event. Bob's still in the world's top 20 and it's another
01:57big week for him as he tees up at Sawgrass in the Players' Championship. Back home this week,
02:06the main focus is the Scottish Golf Awards, the return of that glitzy affair in Glasgow
02:14on Friday night. McIntyre, he's been nominated for the Male Professional of the Year along with
02:22Ewan Ferguson last year's BMW International Open winner and Graham Robertson who enjoyed a fantastic
02:29domestic campaign, while Gemma Dryborough, the Scottish women's number one, she's up against
02:37Heather McRae and Hannah McCook for the Women's Professional Award.
