00:00Everything but the kitchen sink late this week, Thursday, Friday, and into Saturday.
00:07We have a powerful storm off the West Coast.
00:09It's in the Central Pacific.
00:10Now, that's going to come into California Wednesday into Thursday.
00:14Then that storm is going to strengthen in the Southern Plains on Friday.
00:18Now, on the southern tail of this storm, there's going to be very strong winds across Texas
00:24and the Southern Plains states.
00:25That's going to produce areas of blowing dust, sand, and major travel delays across
00:31West Texas Friday afternoon, and then also an extreme fire danger from the Southwest
00:37Plains in the West Texas as we get into Friday and Friday night.
00:41The winds are so strong, things are going to be so dry, I'm afraid there will be fires
00:45burning in that area later this week.
00:48Now, on the northern side of this storm, we have more snow coming to the Central and Southern
00:53Rockies as we get into Thursday into Friday, and then as our storm intensifies in the Plains
00:58Friday night, I think we could be looking at a blizzard again across the eastern part
01:03of the Dakotas and in the western parts of Minnesota.
01:07On the southeastern side of this storm, we're going to get a lot of severe weather beginning
01:11Friday where we are looking at already a moderate risk for severe weather.
01:17We are looking for the possibility of a high risk.
01:19We will likely upgrade to that, to a high risk later this week.
01:23I think there could be over two dozen tornadoes on the ground Friday afternoon and Friday
01:28night, and then the severe weather shifts east from the Ohio Valley to the Mid-South
01:33on Saturday.
