00:00Up we go to the place where we rest.
00:03Welcome to my girl dream suite,
00:06or as Madeline would say, my sexy boudoir.
00:09This is, I'm being totally serious,
00:11my favorite room in the house.
00:13It's pretty big, very, very, very comfortable.
00:14I can't believe I'm letting you guys in here even.
00:30This is my bed, it's customed.
00:33Tiffany didn't do that one, I did that.
00:35I think it's like nine by something.
00:38It's pretty big, very, very, very comfortable.
00:40I wanted to be able to come here and just relax.
00:42I don't want too many colorful things.
00:44I want it to be very, very, very neutral.
00:46I think she overdid it on the fancy pillows on the bed.
00:49Every day I get in the bed, I have to throw all those off
00:51and then put them back on.
00:52As often as I should get great sleep in my bed,
00:55I'm not gonna do it.
00:55I'm not gonna do it.
00:56I'm not gonna do it.
00:57I'm not gonna do it.
00:58As often as I should get great sleep in my own bed,
01:00because of my kids, I do not.
01:03But I love y'all, I really do.
01:05This view is really special to me.
01:07I love Europe, I love Italy.
01:09And so whenever I look out over the balcony,
01:11it's a way to say we kind of brought Italy to us here
01:15because growing up, I didn't even know where Italy was.
01:18I was never supposed to make it to go see Italy.
01:20So now I can wake up in the morning
01:22and I get my own little piece of Italy.
01:24So welcome to my girl dream suite.
01:30I didn't even know you could get a bed upholstered
01:33like this.
01:34It feels transportive.
01:35It feels like I'm in the best version
01:39of the coolest, sexiest hotel.
01:42One of my favorite rituals in here,
01:44which was really unexpected to me,
01:47is just that these are my lights and I get to do this.
01:52It's just really sweet.
01:53And it's actually a really nice way to end the day.
01:57I love this little moment here too, this couch moment.
02:00It's vintage, they had it reupholstered in a perfect pink.
02:04I've seen something like this in a movie before.
02:07Like you can have a bed and a couch in the same room
02:10and you can be drinking coffee, looking outside.
02:13This photograph right here is sourced
02:15from one of my favorite vintage stores
02:17in Kansas City, Urban Mining.
02:19I don't know her, but I do think she adds
02:22to this whole paint me like one
02:23of your French girls moment.
02:27This is the bedroom.
02:29It's a good room for sleeping,
02:30even though it's, as you can see,
02:32right in the middle of the city.
02:33I have a lot of clothes that I've just had for a long time.
02:36I have one suit that I'll show you,
02:38one interesting suit that I have.
02:41So this suit belonged to Christopher Montessanti
02:45from The Sopranos.
02:47This is a Giorgio Armani suit that he wore on the show
02:51while I wore as him.
02:52It's still kind of cool, so.
02:54You know, Victoria's very specific about colors
02:57and how colors affect mood,
02:59so this is a very soothing one.
03:01The color and the vibe, there's a glow to it
03:04that's very comforting and relaxing.
03:06TV's obscured by a screen,
03:08so it's not just this big black thing
03:11dominating the room.
03:13I watch American Dad a lot.
03:14That's my favorite TV show, by far, actually.
03:19In this room, there's some more little statues
03:22and objects and books.
03:23You know, it's nice being surrounded by beautiful things.
03:26So this is my bedroom.
03:31All I have ever wanted was a princess bed
03:36and a TV in my room,
03:38because I didn't have a TV in my room
03:40when I was growing up, boo-hoo me, tiny violin.
03:43And the third thing I've always ever wanted
03:45was matching curtains to my wallpaper.
03:49I don't think it's that princessy, it's cool.
03:51Do you know what I mean?
03:52I didn't go, like, overboard.
03:55Probably one of the bougiest things I bought for this house
03:58was a Hastings mattress,
04:00but it was well worth the great expense.
04:04The carpet, I mean, the carpet is insane.
04:07Nothing really goes in this room,
04:09but I just didn't want to have something
04:10that looked like every other room you see.
04:13Maybe it feels like it would be quite loud
04:16for, like, a room when you want to kind of
04:19have something that's a bit more peaceful,
04:20but actually, this room is like a sanctuary.
04:23It's very peaceful and very quiet.
04:25So I absolutely love it.
04:31This is our room.
04:31It's also Velma's room.
04:33Yeah.
04:33She sleeps on the bed most of the time in here.
04:35This wallpaper was one of the first things
04:38that we picked for the home.
04:39I like that it was, like,
04:40old-school American-style tattoos.
04:42I love that it said, true love forever.
04:44I loved the idea of going full French-style,
04:46having the drapes match the wallpaper.
04:49I was recording, and we were in a studio
04:51where a guy pulled out his phone,
04:53and he changed the lighting in the studio.
04:55And I was like, how did you do that?
04:57And he got me on to just kind of, like,
04:59customization of a mood.
05:02And so now I've got a lot of the house
05:05really set on timers that dim lights
05:07and change colors of lights,
05:09because I think it's sweet.
05:11And so with a touch of a button,
05:13it will change the lighting.
05:14I don't touch light switches anymore.
05:16Meanwhile, when you're not here,
05:17I'm stumbling around, feeling things,
05:20bonking myself on the metal.
05:22So that's why I've been really trying
05:23to put some round, soft furniture in here.
05:26Yeah.
05:27Because I'm just trying to touch that light switch.
05:29♪♪
05:33So we are in our main bedroom,
05:36slash the only bedroom in the house.
05:38As someone who travels a lot for work
05:40and is, you know, always, like, on the run,
05:42I wanted to kind of come back
05:43into what felt like a little cocoon.
05:45So we worked with Fermentel
05:47on this insane hand-painted wallpaper.
05:49What's really lovely about it is
05:50it's, like, this fabulous nature scape
05:52with these burnt oranges and fuchsias in it.
05:54And they were really amazing about customizing it.
05:56So they put these, like,
05:57hand-embroidered swallows on the wall,
05:59and they took the stencil from my husband's tattoo
06:01and they embroidered it.
06:02So he's always here, and if he's not here,
06:04and then my husband always calls me,
06:05like, a little bumblebee and a butterfly.
06:07So they put these little tufted bumblebees
06:09that you see kind of scattered
06:11throughout all the wallpaper.
06:12And obviously we have the world's craziest chandelier.
06:15It's by Bottega Veneziana.
06:17I believe it was much bigger than this.
06:18So they scaled the whole thing,
06:20hand-blew the entire thing in Murano,
06:22and a lovely contractor, Scott,
06:24was able to put the whole thing up.
06:25And at night, the light just dances across the whole room,
06:28and you feel like you're just kind of in this trippy forest.
06:31♪♪
06:34This is Luna's bedroom, guys.
06:36And how cool is this bedroom?
06:38We just kind of gave Jake some vague notes
06:41about how we wanted the kids' rooms to look.
06:44And when he came back with drawings
06:47of, like, what they were actually gonna look like,
06:49I was like, this is beyond anyone's wildest dreams
06:52of what their bedroom should look like.
06:54She has a slide that she goes both up and down.
06:56Yes, mostly up these days.
06:58Yeah. A little kitchen
07:00with her Easy-Bake oven, a little swinging couch.
07:03She has a little beautiful nook up here
07:05that her and Miles will have little sleepovers in.
07:08One, two, three.
07:09Yeah.
07:11♪♪
07:15Hey, guys, this is my room.
07:18Miles loves cars, if you can't tell.
07:21The centerpiece is, of course, the Jeep bunk bed.
07:24And then Miles has, like, a cave over here where he can read.
07:28And then it has just a whole play area up here, too.
07:33There's a little climbing wall in the corner
07:35where he can climb up that way
07:37to get up on this second little story
07:38of his nook and his cave.
07:40They love looking down from the net that's up here.
07:43And then you can see the kids when they come up on top here.
07:46Jake did a good job.
07:48Jake did a good job, he said.
07:50Yeah.
07:52♪♪
07:54Right now, we are in, and this is,
07:56I'm being totally serious, my favorite room in the house.
07:59And it was inspired by when we went to Sundance
08:02for the film festival.
08:04And the kids, they were adults,
08:07had a bunk bed room that they were in.
08:09And it was not your typical bunk bed.
08:11It was big bunk beds that were built into the wall.
08:14And I told Anna, when this house was getting built,
08:17we must have one.
08:18That was one of your other directions.
08:20We have to have a bunk bed room.
08:21It has to be the same style.
08:22It's young, you know, it brings back...
08:24Fun memories?
08:25Yeah, the memories.
08:26Of your bunk bed?
08:27You didn't have bunk beds growing up.
08:28No, but I read about them.
08:30But when I do come here, when you're not here,
08:32a couple times I came, I sleep right here.
08:34Because look, you're in here.
08:36First of all, how cozy is this?
08:38Second, look at this here.
08:40You put your book, you put your medication,
08:43it's whatever you got.
08:44You put your little drink, anything you need there.
08:48What?
08:48You have your dirty shoes on the bed.
08:50Okay, sorry, I'm just making a point.
08:52Making a point.
08:53♪♪♪
08:54Okay, welcome to my bedroom.
08:57One big theme that you're gonna notice
08:59is I'm a big wall-to-wall girly.
09:02I lean into what some may consider a faux pas.
09:05I say faux yeah.
09:08I wanted this room to feel fucking serene.
09:12I've spent a lot of time in hotels
09:14and everyone goes, your room's like a hotel.
09:15And I was like, that's on purpose.
09:18There's no television here.
09:20There are no clothes in here.
09:21It is just quiet.
09:22This is my pride and joy.
09:24This beautiful rattan bed that we found on auction.
09:28Sometimes when the light kind of like pours in,
09:30you can see all the gorgeous reflection
09:32on these like swirls, I'll call it.
09:35Really, really fab.
09:36I sit on this sofa constantly talking to my mom
09:39or my grandma or talking shit to my friends
09:41and my boyfriend.
09:42I also love this table so much.
09:43It's Roger Caprone.
09:44He's a French iconic designer.
09:47All of these impressions are done
09:49with real foliage and leaves,
09:52which brings me profound joy.
09:53So I wanna call out this beautiful sculpture
09:56from my friend Alix Vernet.
09:58She works in all of these amazing metal castings.
10:00It's like so beautiful and stellar the way
10:03that she kind of calls on history
10:05and speaks to the modern woman.
10:08I very much so identify with the way
10:11that she sees the world and sees femininity
10:14and how to like honor who we are
10:16and who we've been and who we're becoming.
10:21So welcome to my guest bedroom.
10:24I did this with my mother-in-law in mind
10:26because she grew up in Ajmer
10:28and I wanted her to remember that.
10:30So I have these pomegranates
10:31and she can think about her home there.
10:34But like this is the guest room where my friends stay
10:37or my in-laws stay when they come to Mumbai.
10:39I wanna talk about this chest.
10:41This is basically for a desk.
10:43It's a writing chest and I keep it open
10:46because it's so beautiful inside.
10:47And it has this little key that makes a little bell sound,
10:51which I think is beautiful.
10:52But this is just like a showpiece right now,
10:54which I have in this room and I love it.
10:57When we were thinking of designing this house,
11:00I remember sending my Maasi, it was in an old AD.
11:02It was Cher's bedroom.
11:04In her bedroom, she had this like beautiful old jheroka
11:07as her headboard.
11:09And we kind of used that as a focal point of the room
11:13and we started with this headboard.
11:15And then the rest of the jheroka is to cover my TV
11:17because I don't like to see TVs.
11:19So we shut in before we go to sleep.
11:21So there's a television behind that.
11:22My gorgeous dressing table is over here.
11:25When my son falls asleep,
11:26I quickly have my dinner and I just go into my bed.
