La 60e édition de Tirreno-Adriatico débutait ce lundi par un contre-la-montre inaugural de 11,5 kilomètres dans les rues de Lido Di Camaiore. Attendu comme le grand favori de cette première journée, Filippo Ganna (INEOS Grenadiers) a répondu présent en remportant le chrono avec 23 secondes d'avance sur Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates XRG). Chez les favoris, c'est donc l'Espagnol qui a fait la bonne opération en terminant 2e.
