A 92-year-old great-grandfather is selling his collection of mobility scooters transformed into iconic vehicles, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Flying Scotsman.

Vin Wardman, from Craven Arms, has spent years crafting replicas using household items, with his latest and final creation being a Concorde model made from a drainpipe and traffic cones.

He previously sold a collection for over £3,000 and hopes to find a buyer for his current works.

Vin says his Chitty Chitty Bang Bang scooter is his most important creation, bringing joy to those who see it.

00:00Well my name is Wyn Warden and I worked on the railway for 20 years on the track
00:05so pretty much got it in the story of the past like but I just started making
00:12different things as a hobby really but I think if I'd have tried to make it 20
00:18years ago I wouldn't have done it but I all of a sudden I couldn't make anything
00:23I see Concorde and I think well I can make that and looked at the Royal Train
00:29where I can make that and the biggest challenge when I saw chitty chitty bang
00:33bang that that was more complicated than any women I always tell everybody
00:39they're pedal bins and plywood now that every one of them that's a pedal bin
00:46that's a pedal bin every one of them look as far as you go where there's a
00:51round barrel that's a pedal bin I started making trains and I needed a
00:55boiler didn't I? Well there's that you go up to the tip and everybody's throwing a
01:00pedal bin away so you go and look for the biggest and best and start decorating
01:06it. There's a man down London way somewhere that makes he converts
01:12shoprider scooters into like lorries like that but whereas these cost about
01:212,000 quid I could build one for less than 200. The bigger ones here I made all
01:28little models like you saw in the cabinet I've probably been making these
01:32for the last 10 years yeah I made I made one lot and a bloke come along I wanted
01:42to buy them all and he took them all and then I was like a kid without toys so I'd
01:47start again didn't I? I decided this is the last now yeah
01:54no I don't think I'm gonna make any more I'm 93 in July it's almost time to
02:02retire now
