00:05And we've got ten of them from Pokemon to Xbox to literally the first ever official limited-edition iPhone
00:11It's time to find out where my life savings have actually gone
00:14every product is gonna get a rarity rating based on how few of them were made and how
00:18Complicated they were to obtain and then when we test them we can see whether they were actually worth it with our shiny new tier list
00:25Beginning our adventure with the use mini electric shaver
00:29Pokemon edition because apparently catching them all now includes my facial hair. So you store the shaver in a pokeball
00:36So glad I caught that
00:37This is like a proper metallic mirrored finish pokeball and apparently a one-to-one replica of a real pokeball
00:46This is the best case I've ever seen it's like ASMR but also a childhood dream at the same time
00:51It's really cool that the theming is electric type because you know electric shaver these guys have got the balance, right?
00:56It absolutely makes you feel like you've got something special edition without being so plastered in it that it feels like something you picked out
01:03Of a kid's toy catalog. Although this website is not helping with that. It calls it the perfect toy for every big boy

01:33So if I try and put aside for a minute my incredible love for Pokemon and my incredible hate for this haircut
01:39This feels like a pretty solid beat here limited edition
01:44But now we get to products that have had major hype behind them
01:47This is the $80 Astro Bot controller for ps5 and demand for this thing outstripped supply by so much that you just can't find
01:54The thing now without having to pay someone quite a bit more than that
01:57Meaning that I would now class this thing as properly rare and the reason there was just such a flurry around
02:02It was no one ever really
02:05Expected Astro Bot to be a big deal
02:06most people interacted with him for the first time as part of a
02:09Pre-installed ps5 demo to get people to grips with the features of the new controller
02:13But people loved that demo so much that Sony started to invest heavily in the developer who then went on to make a fully-fledged
02:20Sequel game which actually somehow managed to not just review well
02:24But actually win game of the year pretty much cementing Astro Bot as PlayStation's official mascots
02:30And so that entire journey is essentially commemorated in this one special edition controller
02:35Which was also teased to have these next-level looking emotive LED eyes on the touchpad
02:40So obviously hype levels were through the stratosphere. Well

02:45It doesn't these eyes don't do anything
02:48most likely I'm guessing someone in the marketing department got so carried away trying to make the design look cool on video that they
02:54Accidentally misled over a million people now that come down the side all of this bot like detailing is actually really cool
03:02The blue labels on the buttons and the metallic blue handles
03:05I'm happy to see that this is a non tacky way of treating Astro Bot fans
03:09And let's be very honest PlayStation really needed some non tacky controller designs
03:13It is actually kind of cool, but you know for a normal PlayStation 5 controller
03:16This grip area is completely matte whereas they have glossified that whole area here probably just to add to that robotic feel
03:23I think it's earned itself the right to sit comfortably in b-tier, but now at a hundred and twenty dollars
03:29I really really want this to be good because in concept
03:32This is the coolest keyboard idea that I have ever heard the Xbox keyboard made by a company called 8-bit do and with it
03:40For an extra $60 the Xbox mouse. Oh
03:43My goodness
03:44I feel like I have to preface this by saying that some of the best memories of my entire lifetime are associated with early Xboxes
03:51Just four friends huddled around a tiny CRT TV
03:55Just trying to blast each other off the face of the earth with rocket launchers
03:58That was the life
03:59And so this is the official mechanical keyboard inspired by the original crazy
04:05Transgreen plastic special edition Xbox and I absolutely love the fact that they have the same
04:10Glossy plastic finish as those buttons and now it's time for that special moment that you get to have just once with every new keyboard
04:17It is very typewriter like and that's probably not an accident given that the entire objective here is to flood you with nostalgia
04:24They're not like the highest grade key switches ever
04:28I'm assuming they've picked them because they are transparent and that does to be fair massively add to the vibe
04:36But they still feel pretty good feels like every inch of this thing is designed to take you back there
04:42like backlighting mechanical keys wireless connection
04:45But at the same time this really authentic retro charm just exuding through
04:51I'm in love. Oh and also the keyboard comes with two programmable macro keys
04:56Which you can just set up to execute any command that you want them to like let's say for example
05:01Your scripting process is going particularly rough one day
05:07Really fun and also the mouse while I wouldn't say it individually feels exceptional in any particular way
05:12It does complete the look in such a sick way
05:16Not to mention it comes with its own charging dock that also doubles as a signal extender
05:21The question is though a tier or s tier
05:24I'm gonna go a tier just because I think it could have come with a few more cool limited edition Xbox extras
05:31But it does not look like we're gonna have that problem with the Poco Iron Man edition phone
05:35This is a cool box. So the sim ejector is symbolizing Iron Man's heart proof that Tony Stark has a heart
05:43It's bringing it all back to me. This is how the Iron Man suit works in case you want to build one at home
05:55There are tons of little touches all across here
05:58So Marvel Avengers and again even on the back of this Stark Industries and then inside this
06:03Wow the cable which also has Tony Stark's heart and his signature. We've got a bunch of manuals on the case
06:10That is absolutely sick. This is like the opposite of generic like it's not just the same style as a normal case
06:16But recolored this thing is pretty clearly designed from scratch to be Iron Man style and now the phone
06:24Yeah, this feels pretty high tier but at the same time I'm confused this thing has only just come out in 2025
06:30But there's been no Iron Man in the MCU for like six years
06:34But still I love the different use of textures this black frame pairs
06:38So well with the red back. Let's have a look at the software. Oh
06:43Actually way more sophisticated than I was expecting it's got a brand new font here, which is not crazy. It's nice
06:48It's got a wallpaper that fits really well. It's got new icons. Wait
06:52Are you freaking kidding me? They have decided to theme every single icon on this home page
06:58Except for one who like who approves these things or maybe they did it on purpose. There's you know

07:17They're all my favorite games. Anyway, this case is like straight-up badass
07:22I mean just the way it fits keeping the key elements on the back still visible makes it feel very purposeful
07:27That's like one of the few potential perks of getting a limited edition phone that you can have a case that feels
07:33Specifically tailored for the unique design of it
07:36It's just really nice and grippy and it's got this extra-large ribbed power button for your pressing pleasure
07:44So we find out if it works three two one. Oh my god. I
07:51Hated that
07:53but
07:54alas
07:56Iron Man is intact. I
07:58Am feeling a tear here. I'm impressed. I'm just not blown away
08:03And now at the exact same price, but with a completely different take this is nothing's community edition phone
08:09Which also happens to quite significantly dial up the rarity while previous products were one of 50,000
08:15Maybe even one of 10,000. This bad boy was limited to
08:191,000 units total super rare and the really cool thing about this is that this was developed over a period of six months with a
08:25thousand different design entries from nothing's fans
08:28So nothing basically just asked their community to submit what they thought should be the hardware the wallpaper design packaging design
08:34Even the marketing campaign and then actually made it
08:38So what did they decide while it comes with more base RAM than the phone to a plus that it's based on which I guess is
08:43Because it's only the real power users who are gonna think about buying this thing
08:46The new wallpapers are inspired by pipes cables and circuitry which apparently symbolizes the connectedness of nothing's community
08:53and yeah, even the packaging design is completely different looking to the standard packaging and the reason that it's bright green is because
09:00This limited edition also glows in the dark. Although
09:05Not particularly well
09:08Okay. So what I would say is whether or not you like the way this phone looks
09:12This does feel like a master class in branding like even the marketing that came out of this was so well done
09:18Nothing has always presented their new phones in images with animals
09:21And so the idea of integrating fireflies into this phone which glow in the dark is such a smart angle all in all though
09:28I would still have to say beat here because as cool as the story is
09:32Glowing the dark is a pretty underwhelming gimmick that has very limited utility
09:37Plus I also just think they could have made the unboxing experience a little more special
09:41Considering that it's designed to be a love letter to fans
09:44Now it's time to suit up because this is the limited edition butcher 360 degree haptic vest
09:50fortnight edition
09:52So just for context in our futuristic tech video
09:55We filmed a product called the wood just strap that with one band across your chest could simulate
10:00Impact you crash into the wall in the game. You feel that crash in your body and it was pretty good
10:05It's just kind of hard to justify the price and also the hassle of it all for an effect that was fairly subtle
10:12But this is the real deal instead of one impact transducer
10:16We are now talking six, although I have to say I am a little confused who this is for
10:22I mean like our fortnight players really the ones strapping themselves into
10:27$500 haptic vests. I feel like they know it too
10:29Like what is this website even talking about every character every feel play together feel together. That doesn't sound like fortnight
10:37Oh, okay, so I can feel every single person spawning in crikey
10:42There's almost so much happening that it's hard to pinpoint it to a specific thing on screen
10:46Let's see how it feels once we separate ourselves from the crowd can actually feel the wind resistance of my parachute
10:51I feel like this could be really effective if you only felt it when you shoot or get shot and in those moments
10:57It's this sudden wave sweeping over you instead of this more lower level rumbling all the time
11:03But it is definitely effective to need a shield when I got a woojer fortnight edition vest
11:09Overall I would say that I like it more than I liked the original woojer strap. I still wouldn't use it myself
11:15Plus even as a special edition. It's not exactly the most exciting. You got a couple of extra downloadable items and
11:21Can I even turn around in this straitjacket an extra sleeve that fortnight themed so overall?
11:28It's a C tier now if you thought the height for the astrobot controller was big then the height for the 30th anniversary
11:34PlayStations was on another level. This was like website crashes and scalpers on eBay before the pre-orders even opened levels of hype
11:41So we have the ps5 slim the PlayStation portal and the dual sense edge controller. So let's start with the controller. Oh
11:49They went all in on this packaging
11:51Can you see how the outside is covered in tons of old-school PlayStation products and then this inside is all the classic PlayStation shapes
11:57But with threes in it because three next to circle makes 30
12:02And then look at this carry case for the controller
12:08You've got all the extra pro modules that you can attach for finer control
12:12This is standard for a dual sense edge controller, but man does it look tasty in this new theme? Okay back to the selection screen
12:19It's PlayStation portal time
12:21You see companies making special anniversary editions of their consoles all the time
12:25But I have to say PlayStation really has made this feel like you're unboxing a piece of history
12:33And then on the inside the PS portal itself the sticker is a cool touch with the original PS logo
12:41And then finally the PlayStation 5 slim itself, although doesn't feel particularly slim right now
12:50Tell you what, I really appreciate every piece of cardboard on the inside also being recolored to gray
12:55It's a subtle touch, but I mean who else does that?
12:58So at the very top we've got the controller which is also themed
13:01I'm glad to see that they haven't just chucked in the standard controller, which would have been the easy option
13:06There's manuals not a whole lot different there
13:09What's in here? Oh
13:11This looks like just miscellaneous goodies, basically
13:15PlayStation branded cable ties
13:18There's a rather premium looking PlayStation sticker
13:21There's nothing really here of particular worth, but it's a very easy way of probably making the days of PlayStation's biggest supporters
13:27Oh my god, there's so much more
13:29So there's a full other box that has things like a spare matching plate to make sure you can keep the limited-edition
13:35Look, even if you have a disk drive
13:36Even that's got a 30 on it as well as other bits like the vertical stand for the console
13:41Starting to understand why the box was so damn heavy. Oh, this is there to protect the limited-edition PlayStation poster
13:46This is like beyond excessive at this point and now the console
13:51Oh
14:14And also maybe the single coolest part of this
14:17Cable housing that makes your USB C cable look like an original ps1 cable
14:23So that was easily one of the best unboxing experiences I've ever had the products themselves though are like
14:29Fairly simple reskins. They don't feel like super high-effort redesigns, but I do like them. It's pretty crazy. Just how insanely
14:36Transportative this simple shade of gray can be it's also these buttons the triangle circle square X
14:42Just seeing them like this in their original color forms
14:45Makes me so happy
14:46But I have to say easily the craziest part for me is you might know how the normal DualSense controller has those tiny little
14:53PlayStation shapes on the grip material if you zoom in which is I suppose kind of an Easter egg in of itself
14:58But the 30th anniversary controllers in every single place where you see that PlayStation shape texture
15:04Also has the extra three inserted to make it 30 like even the back half of the L2 and R2
15:10Triggers has that three baked into it. All right, let's boot up
15:14Also, it's just a normal ps5 boot up screen and the entire user interface and menus all look exactly the same, too
15:20There did also used to be a bunch of themes that you could apply to give your ps5 the look and even the sounds of
15:25Previous generation consoles, which is like the coolest possible way to celebrate your history
15:30But then at the same time those weren't exclusive to the limited edition ps5 is and also you can't use them now
15:37I think Sony originally released the themes with the plan to take them away at the end of January
15:41So that still happened
15:43But then since the users liked them so much Sony are now suggesting that they will bring them back in a future update
15:48So I'm glad the themes are coming back. The unboxing experience for this stuff was frankly phenomenal
15:53But I also can't help but feel like they could have done a little bit more in terms of unique software
15:59sprinkles for these collectors edition products
16:02So I'm gonna go a tear overall
16:06Okay time for the top three
16:07These are just straight-up bonkers because I mean just for starters what I am holding right now the Zenless Zone Zero phone
16:14Based on the free-to-play mobile game made by the same developers as Genshin Impact. This phone is a 1 in 50
16:211 in 50 is absurdly rare
16:23And the somehow even crazier thing is that this also happens to be the first time that Apple has ever
16:29Collaborated with a game company on a phone and so how the heck did we actually get this thing?
16:34Well, there was one place on the entire planet you could buy it a tiny little pop-up shop on a random street in Korea
16:39So knowing when it was coming up for sale
16:41we basically went on to Fiverr and tried to hire as many people in Korea as we could to go through all the
16:46Processes to prove their Korean citizenship and to somehow get in line and try and buy one for us one actually agreed
16:52But we still didn't think it was gonna happen
16:54I mean 50 units of an iPhone in the world and so this was us on the day of sale
16:59We were just sitting there with bated breath watching her typing indicator almost convinced
17:04She was about to tell us that the thing had sold out
17:05But she actually pulled through as for the rest of the unboxing. So there's a case on top and then oh, okay
17:13separate drawer underneath
17:15So this is a redeem code. Oh, whoops. I
17:18Thought it'd be covered by something. Have fun. I guess an acrylic ticket. All this stuff is showing off the new character Miyabi
17:26And
17:28An acrylic keyring I way prefer stuff like this because you know, at least you can use it so the phone case
17:33Oh, well, it's actually two phone cases
17:37And as you probably expect the quality is top-class you could definitely take a drop of this
17:43Wait now it's time for the big moment. So the phone is
17:48You freaking kidding me
17:52It's completely standard
17:56It seems like Apple's willingness to collaborate doesn't extend to actually making the iPhone special edition
18:01This is just a run-of-the-mill black iPhone 16 Pro
18:04And could you not even have just just engraved a tiny little number one of 50 or something?
18:09This whole thing is actually so weird when you think about it
18:11Like Apple never collaborates with companies for limited edition phones and then the one time they do it's for Zenless Zone zero
18:18Which is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases that doesn't come across as hugely premium
18:23It's only sold in Korea in this random little pop-up shop and 50 units
18:27I mean for Apple for a company like Apple that is just an absolutely
18:31meaningless amount of phones to be messing around with and do you know what the whole thing all of this was actually made to celebrate literally
18:39version 1.4 of this mobile game
18:43like what the
18:45and
18:45From the high of actually being able to get this to the low of opening it and realizing that at its core
18:51It is an iPhone with absolutely zero changes Zenless Zone zero changes
18:56It's a big drop. You know what? I'm bummed. I'm gonna give this one an F2
19:03Apple has left me wanting so
19:05Let's see if Samsung can give me what I crave
19:07I think it's got a pretty good chance because see pretty much every limited edition phone is basically a phone that already exists
19:14But with a reskin body some cool accessories and if you're lucky a layer of themed software
19:19What you don't get very often is what mr
19:21Samuel Sung has done with the galaxy fold special edition where they've actually upgraded the hardware in quite a major way. Oh
19:30You get a case you certainly do not get one of those with a normal galaxy z-fold 6
19:43And you get a charger again don't get one of those with a normal z-fold 6
19:50And
19:59I imagine part of the reason for that is that this version of the phone is actually exclusive to Korea and China
20:04And those are regions in which charger in the box is still an expectation
20:08And the only thing that I can think of is that foldable competition is just higher in those countries
20:13You know, they have Xiaomi's foldables Vivo's foldables Huawei's foldables, whereas they don't have those in the West
20:18So maybe they just take things a little bit easier
20:21It's just very surprising when I look at this and then I look at this
20:24They feel like entirely different phones because like this z-fold 6 that you get in the West is
20:295.6 millimeters thick when you unfold it. This special edition is 4.9 and that feels
20:35Generational. In fact, that's literally the difference that Samsung has achieved in the last two generations with their Western phones
20:40The back panel has this final like banded texture
20:44Which is better at hiding fingerprints in the base phone
20:46The cover display has gone from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches moderate improvement
20:50but the inner screen has gone from 7.6 inches to 8 inches which is sizable with a
20:55resolution bump to match and like we're not done like the base model of this phone has 12 gigs of RAM and
21:01256 gigs of storage this has 16 gigs and
21:05512 gigs with the extra RAM being specifically useful for both multitasking but also running AI tasks on device plus
21:1250 megapixel main camera on the standard
21:15200 megapixel main camera on the special edition. So this is set to 50
21:19This is set to 200 if you take a photo with both of them
21:22Wow, wait, what on earth? Why do they look like completely different images?
21:26But also yeah at the same time you can absolutely tell the difference in detail when you zoom in close
21:30Ah, it's just reminded me what I've got plastered onto the side of my head. Can we film on this side?
21:36I gotta say this thing makes me feel so torn because on one hand like this is the best special edition
21:42I've ever used
21:42These are such significant changes compared to the Z Fold 6 that Samsung could literally bring this exact phone to the West later this year
21:50Label it as the Z Fold 7 and no one would even bat an eyelid
21:53So then like why isn't this super competitive razor-thin high-end camera foldable in the West already?

23:32This is what happens when the company says, you know what screw it whatever it costs. Let's just make the ultimate version of our phone
23:41So first up is a VIP card that I gotta say actually does do a really good job of making you feel important
23:47I've actually never used one of these though, and we'll get back to the phone
23:51So three sub boxes inside the main box and actually from being clever
23:55There's a fourth one just below this video just in case you're specifically enjoying it
23:59So let's start with a boring looking one. Oh
24:02Wait, maybe I was wrong. Very minimalist carbon fiber case here
24:06The SIM ejector by the way is beastly looking and actually coated in real gold
24:12This is easily one of the most committed to the bit limited editions that I've ever unboxed. Everything is black and gold
24:18We've got a very unusual looking USBC cable
24:21It's actually got a little design flair and it's braided too, which is good for tangling and general longevity and we have two of them
24:28Lovely and then finally, holy
24:30flip so carbon fiber charger to again specifically made for this version of the phone and that's got 80 watts of power and then
24:38my god
24:39This is the coolest looking cooler ever. So this will snap onto the back of the phone. Where is that phone? Oh, yeah
24:46Okay, let's get in
24:48So
24:55Let's make one thing very clear we have never seen specs like this before
25:0124 gigabytes of RAM 1 terabyte of the fastest storage available for a phone UFS 4.1 a
25:08144 Hertz refresh rate on one of the cleanest most bezel of screens I've ever seen a

26:06So this is purely a test of how much more you can get out of it with all the extra stuff
26:10All right, 20 minutes later and the answer is a hell of a lot
26:15I have actually never seen a peak performance score like this, but also the performance stability score
26:20I mean, obviously the extent of cooling is kind of excessive, but does it work? Yes, and yeah, it's extremely expensive
26:27This is fourteen hundred and ninety nine dollars
26:30But then at the same time considering how nuts the specs and the materials are
26:34I would have actually expected it to be a lot more. You know what?
26:37S tier. I don't like the way that this cooler attaches to the phone
26:42Like you actually have to put a magnetic sticker on the back to be able to snap it on which
26:47Considering the lengths that they've already had to go to for this
26:49I don't quite understand why they didn't just add a magnetic ring to the back
26:52But as a limited edition
26:54I just think this is so cool that it's not just luxury for the sake of luxury or
26:59Luxury that actually gets in the way because we've seen our fair share of that too
27:02It's luxury that makes the phone look great while also actually making the experience better, too
