00:00I want to start with this, the Grizzlies.

00:24But my point of this is that they haven't been playing well.
00:27I saw the Knicks beat them by one and then the next night they lose by two and they lose
00:33to the Thunder by a big count the other night.
00:36It's just one failure after the next.
00:38Now tonight I know they're playing Dallas who's got their own massive bloodletting going
00:44on but I'm not buying them anymore as a four.
00:49I'm not buying them.
00:50They just look like they've got a leak in the ship.
00:55That leak starts with the fact that Jaren Jackson Jr. is now out for three weeks give
01:00or take with an ankle sprain.
01:02Look, he is one of at least, he and Giannis are the two guys off the top of my head that
01:07I can think of.
01:08Best offensive player and since leading scorer on that team is Jaren Jackson Jr.
01:13He is by far their best defender.
01:15How many teams can afford to lose the guy who is their leading scorer and best defender?
01:19So they're in trouble but they were in trouble even before he went down.
01:24Like you said, they're really not defending on the same level.
01:27They are not playing with the same energy that they had early in the season.
01:32Scott doesn't look like teams have just kind of figured them out.
01:34Like hey, they were running a simplistic offense.
01:37We can bottle this up a little bit and get wins.

01:41And then you heard the talk about trading Ja.
01:45I don't agree with that.
01:47Not at this point with his talent and age.
01:49I don't agree with that move at all.
01:52That's just from my standpoint.
01:54I think they're smart to keep him.
01:57I would keep him.
01:59Look, I think, man, they're just, I get the injury concerns.
02:04But how many guys create separation and create shots the way he does?
02:08Who can, it's, yeah, there's the highlights and we all love the highlights.
02:12There's just not a lot of guys who create shots at his level, who create the spacing
02:16needed.
02:17And I think you just need to build the right team around him and around Jaren Jackson Jr.
02:22Because those are a couple of pieces for a team that can be really dangerous if you've
02:26got the other right guys around them to round this out.
02:30And that's never been consistent there.
