Wir haben die aktuelle Alpha-Version von Splitgate 2 ausprobieren können. Teil 1 hatte im Jahr 2021 für mächtig Furore gesorgt und durch den enormen Spieleransturm wochenlang die Server in die Knie gezwungen.
Wir probieren den neuen Modus Splitball aus, bei dem wir insgesamt drei Spielbälle in unserer Basis horten müssen, um zu gewinnen – bei der Jagd müssen wir aber auch unsere Sammlung vor Dieben schützen!
Wie in Splitgate 1 erinnern die Arena-Schießereien stark an Unreal Tournament oder Halo, allerdings kommt durch die Portal-Mechanik eine neue und taktisch herausfordernde Komponente hinzu.
Die Alpha-Version lief bereits extrem rund und konnte mit tollem Gunplay, präzisem Movement und interessanten Modi (wie Splitball) überzeugen. Eventuell steht uns also erneut ein großer FPS-Hit bevor!
