00:00The Department of Trade and Industry or DTI has joined forces with one of the country's leading
00:05fast food companies to minimize waste and incorporate sustainable practices into its
00:10operations. This and other stories in tonight's Business Wrap from the Philippine News Agency.
00:22In our business news, the Department of Trade and Industry and Jollibee Food Corporation have
00:27partnered to reduce waste and integrate sustainability practices into fast food
00:32giant's ecosystem. DTI and JFC unveiled their joint project called POPJECT 2.0b Earth's
00:42Best Friend, a Just Transition to Sustainable Lifestyles. In a press con on March 5, the DTI
00:48emphasized their duty to protect consumers' rights while guiding them towards informed,
00:53ethical and sustainable consumption. The partnership was also made in celebration
00:58of the World Consumer Rights Day as DTI and Jollibee acknowledged the growing impact of
01:04plastic pollution. Alois Anne Sison, Assistant Vice President of Trade Marketing Group of Jollibee,
01:13also said their goal is to create long-term behavioral change among consumers.
01:19Meanwhile, property developers are focusing on provincial markets where the demand for
01:25residential and office spaces remains high. During the Property Guru Asia Connect Manila
01:31event, Cindy Tan Harabata, President of Tahara Leisure and Hospitality Group,

01:43Jericho Go, Senior Vice President of Robinson Lands, said development in the provinces
