00:39the two suspects were arrested for illegally selling Chainsaw Online for P3,000 to P7,500 each.

00:48They just started this kind of illegal activities.

00:52According to them, they are not aware that the sale of Chainsaw requires permits.

01:02Under Chainsaw Act of 2002,

01:05the Department of Environment and Natural Resources needs a permit for the sale and use of Chainsaw

01:11to avoid using it for illegal logging.

01:14We confiscated two Chainsaws.

01:17This is brand new and heavy duty that illegal loggers can use for deforestation

01:26and can really harm our natural resources.

01:31The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group is still investigating who took the Chainsaw that they sold.

01:37From January to March this year,

01:40the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group carried out four operations against the illegal sale of Chainsaw,

01:46where five suspects were arrested.

01:49For there to be no violation of the law, according to the PNP-ACG,

01:52authorized retailers should buy the Chainsaw and get a permit before using it.
