00:00A bridge park was formally opened to the public in Lapu-Lapu City, in the province of Cebu.

00:05Because of the new park, it is expected to promote health and wellness, especially for the youth.

00:18This is the new look of the first Cebu Mactan Bridge in the city of Lapu-Lapu.

00:25There are also colorful artworks that can be seen around.

00:29Games can also be seen from the country of the Netherlands.

00:33That's why the kids can play freely in the bridge park.

00:39The officials of the LGU of Lapu-Lapu City held the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

00:44The Department of Budget and Management Secretary was also present at the ceremony.

00:50This project, once completed, will become a health, wellness, fitness, and recreation hub for everyone of all ages.

01:09The waterfront view and the picturesque landscaping offers a welcoming and relaxing vibe.

01:20Ideal for exercise activities like jogging, walking, yoga, Zumba, and the likes.

01:32Most of our kids now use cell phones as gadgets.

01:40It's rare for them to get fresh air, old-time-style playing, and playing with children.

01:54This promotes creativity, encourages imagination,

02:01makes learning fun, and boosts their confidence and self-esteem.

02:06The DBM invested Php 40 million in the construction of the bridge park.

02:12It is expected that the park will be full of physical activities, especially for the youth.

02:18As most of you know, our beloved President Bongbong Marcos Jr. possesses a forward-looking vision.

02:29One that includes sustainability, inclusivity, transformation, and growth, especially across the region.

02:38And the construction and improvement of Barangay Paos Park here in Lapu-Lapu City aligns well with our President's vision.

02:49A ceremonial ground-breaking ceremony was also held for Phase 2 of the bridge park,

02:55where the area will also be redeveloped, where you can see the magnificent cave of the city.
