This is the adorable moment a pup experienced snow for the first time.

A video shows Toast the Toy Cavapoochon, now eight-month-old, running around his owner's garden jumping around and trying to catch snowflakes.

Owner Shannon Devine, who lives in Derry, Northern Ireland, said: "It was toast's first time seeing snow.

"He is only a pup and only 6 months at the time."
