A senior civil servant has given a response to the news that a Government-backed carbon capture firm in Yorkshire has made mass redundancies.
Ashley Ibbett, Director General for Energy Infrastructure at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, was asked about the situation with C-Capture at a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee following The Yorkshire Post revealing on Saturday that dozens of people had been made redundant.
