Armagh were full value for their eight-point win over Dublin at a sold-out Box-It Athletic Grounds this evening, which sees them move up to fourth spot in the table.

Oisin O’Neill – who was ravaged with injuries during the 2022 and 2023 campaigns but was used effectively as an impact sub during Armagh’s run to Sam Maguire glory in 2024 – made his first start since the Orchard County’s Ulster SFC Semi-final loss against Monaghan in 2021. He marked the performance with a sublime two-point shot – a new rule which he will certainly be glad of.

The Crossmaglen man spoke to us post-match and he said that the manager Kieran McGeeney showed a lot of faith in him, drafting him into the starting XV in place of the injured Niall Grimley.
