A lawyer who taught herself to DJ on YouTube after her divorce has turned her hobby into a thriving side career.
Kavita Varu, 54, from Sheffield, started mixing music during lockdown and went viral after livestreaming her sets.
She now plays at festivals, corporate events, and even Ibiza, all while maintaining her full-time legal career.
Her biggest achievement was opening for DJ Pete Tong in 2023 before an 8,000-strong crowd.
Kavita now also works as a motivational speaker, encouraging others to pursue their dreams, saying: “Never give up—follow your passion and make it happen.”
