Low pressure slowly clearing into the North Sea but continuing to bring strong winds and chilly wind to East Anglia, with a lot of cloud and some patchy rain. A few showers affecting Wales and northwest England but more especially Northern Ireland and Scotland. Some of the showers bringing hail and thunder in northwest Scotland. Sunny spells elsewhere.
