00:00Well perhaps it will, because Greg, as we've been saying, the British Prime
00:04Minister Sir Keir Starmer will go to the White House on Thursday. Analysts seem to
00:09think Macron did a reasonably good job at getting his points across to
00:13President Trump, don't know if you agree with that, but Prime Minister
00:17Starmer says he's going to show up with this new pledge of increasing defence
00:22spending that we were just talking about there. Can he act as an effective bridge
00:27do you think between Europe and the United States? I think he could, it's a
00:32great opportunity for him. When I say I think he could, I don't think he
00:37necessarily will, but it would be an opportunity squandered if he doesn't.
00:41Stepping up to defence spending, you never would have expected that from Keir
00:46Starmer or Labour. Perhaps he's being forced into it, but I do think it's
00:51important for the UK. It's completely inadequate to be a 2.3%, just like I
00:56said, it's inadequate for the US to be at 3%.
