00:00President Trump is provocative. He's different. He doesn't do things the old way, and the old way has failed, and I think that's what's really important here.
00:09The neocons in America have failed at defeating Russia. You saw it even in the last three years, the incrementalist, the drip-feeding of support from President Biden, and he would always argue that he didn't want to escalate.
00:24But he was really the champion of appeasement in his four years, and if you look back at Trump 1.0, it's interesting that he was much more hostile to Putin and to Russia than the Obama-Biden administration was after the invasion of Crimea, and also much more aggressive than Joe Biden was, especially in the first two years.
00:47But even after Russia invaded Ukraine, you saw a real slow drip-feed, and in many ways, it was really a strategy of stalemate to start with rifles and rounds and then ultimately agree to Abrams tanks and later agree to F-16s, not before stopping some of our allies from delivering F-16s to Ukraine, and then stopping the training, stopping the permissions, the tech,
01:16in addition to weapons.
01:18So I think in retrospect, we can't turn back the clock.
01:22We all wish we could to February of 2022.
