00:00It was just over a year ago in one of London's most affluent areas when Maximilian Bourne
00:06attacks Joselia Pereira do Nascimento. Judge Gregory Perrins at Southwark Crown Court
00:13described how Miss Nascimento had been watching television in her room on the evening of the attack
00:21when Bourne knocked on her door and asked her to come outside.
00:26The judge added he then viciously and brutally attacked her,
00:31stabbing her repeatedly with a kitchen knife to her head and her body.
00:37Bourne was charged with attempted murder
00:41but was deemed unfit to stand trial because of his mental health and a jury
00:47decided that he committed the acts charged against him after minutes of deliberation.
00:53Following a one-day trial, it is worth adding how the court heard Miss Nascimento was left
01:01permanently scarred and received no help or support aside from a text message
01:07from the quote-unquote extremely wealthy family following the incident.
01:12After the attack Maximilian called 999 giving his name and
01:17telling the operator there is this demon woman in my house and I stabbed her.
01:23I'm a nice boy from Chelsea. You're just going to have to please not bring a gun.
01:29I do have blood all over me. The judge told the court how Miss Nascimento has permanent scars
01:36which are of intense pain and suffers with mental health issues including post-traumatic stress disorder and
01:43panic attacks.
