The Malaysian Media Council Bill 2024, which will allow self-regulation within the local media industry, has been passed in the Dewan Rakyat. Sipitang MP Datuk Sapawi Ahmad Wasali specially dedicated the song, “Bukan Kerana Nama,” to the media.
