00:03Dear listeners, due to the heavy rain and the effects of some typhoons in the country last year,
00:09the number of typhoons names has been changed to hope.
00:12In the released press release of hope,
00:158 names were decommissioned or removed from the list and cannot be used again.
00:21Also included are the following typhoons that hit the country in 2024,
00:26which are Julian, Christine, Leon, Nika, Ophel, and Pepito.
00:31Those will be replaced by Josefa, Kidul, Lekep, Nanolay, Onos, and Puok.
00:37Every 4 years, the list of names is being rewritten, so in 2028,
00:41it will be possible to use.
00:43There are also names that were decommissioned in 2025.
00:46For now, the typhoon is not yet visible,
00:48but there is still a chance of rain due to the sheer line, Amihal, and Easter Leys.
00:54Based on the data of Metro Weather, it is possible that it will rain tomorrow,
00:57especially in Quezon, some parts of Visayas, and almost the entire Mindanao.
