00:00Mr Speaker, the Secretary of State has indicated that he's going to have further discussions
00:05along with the African Union. Given that there are about nine million people displaced in what
00:10is one of the most, if not the most, significant humanitarian catastrophe the world faces today,
00:17can he impress upon the African Union and partners the need for urgent action to try and resolve this?
00:24Well, the Honourable Gentleman is absolutely right, and I didn't just go to the Ardrey
00:29crossing to spend time with the overwhelming women and children who are fleeing this conflict,
00:35but it was important also to announce £20 million in additional support to refugees and
00:41particularly access to reproductive and sexual health services on that border. It's grim,
00:47it's horrific, it's had too little attention and I intend to do all we can to bring this
00:53to an end.
