Taiwan's Premier Warns of Budget Cuts to Welfare Initiatives

Taiwan's Premier Cho Jung-tai says that massive cuts to the Cabinet's proposed budget approved by the legislature could significantly harm government operations and says the cuts don't make sense in light of last year's growth in GDP. The Cabinet must decide whether to approve the budget or send it back to the legislature for a revote.
