Independent senatorial candidate Bam Aquino took a break from the campaign trail to give youth and online influencers a guided tour of the just-reopened Aquino Center and Museum in Tarlac City on Tuesday, Feb. 25, the 39th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution that ended the Marcos dictatorship. 00:07It shows that the people are the most powerful in our country.

00:12Not only the politicians, not only the people sitting, not only the rich, but the people themselves.

00:19We remember that today, February 20, the people of the Philippines,

00:25it's been 39 years since the EDSA People Power Revolution.

00:29How old are you? Are you 10 years old?

00:3211? 12? I'm 9 years old when EDSA was formed.

00:37So, a little bit younger than you when EDSA People Power was formed.

00:41I have good memories of when we were in the corner of EDSA and Annapolis Street.

00:46And you know, that day, there were so many people,

00:50rich, poor, women, men, old and young,

00:53all of them were there to protect the freedom and democracy in our country.

00:57So, I hope you're able to learn a lot from this museum.

01:01This museum, of course, has the people power,

01:04but it's also about Ninoy Aquino, Cory Aquino, and former President Pinoy.

01:09I hope you will remember and be inspired by their lives.
