Confusion over Musk_s email to federal workers after agencies are told responses are voluntary

The Office of Personnel Management notified government agencies that responding to Elon Musk’s “What did you do last week?" email is voluntary and failure to respond will not equate to a resignation. However, President Donald Trump today praised the email and said that anyone who doesn’t answer is “semi-fired, or fired.”
