We take to Buchanan Street to find out how people like to spend their free time in the city.

00:00First of all, I would do what a typical Scottish person would do, just go up to a pub and drink.
00:12I'd go to the barrel collection. I'd spend the day at the barrel.
00:16Other than that, I would just go up to some gigs. I like to believe that I'm an artist.
00:21I've done theatre, so I would probably end up in some theatre and comedy gigs or maybe some stuff like that.
00:28Just a lot of shopping, I think. I'd just visit most of the shops I could that I'm interested in and just help myself.
00:35And what is it that you particularly like about the bottom?
00:38The variety of art. I think it's got a good little cafe, so you can just chill there for the day and it's free. It's fabulous.
00:45What do you particularly like about the city?
00:48I think it's got something for everyone. There's shops that I'd usually go to or there's the tour bus experience and things.
00:55There's just lots for lots of different types of people to do.
00:58And do you have any favourite pubs?
01:02I think I have heard quite a few things about McSorley's. I've not been there, but it seems like a nice place to me.
01:09And what type of shops would you go to?
01:12I like Waterstones a lot. I like going to library kind of places and getting books and stuff.
01:17I'm a uni student, so I like getting to do research and stuff. So yeah, I'd go to Waterstones is my best bet.
01:24But the works is good as well.
01:26I've been to Kelvin Grove Art Gallery and I would like to probably explore the places that depict some kind of art,
01:35including the Gallery of Modern Art and the MP Theatre, if there's some gig going on over there.
01:40I don't know the name of the place, but there's a lot of comedy gigs going on in the Cow Gardens Road.
01:47So yeah, probably that.
