00:00At the back of the crowd, there's a smiling young man who's just a 2-year-old boy.

00:11He's literally growing up in his own little world.

00:15That's why he asked his parents for help from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

00:21As soon as he hears the music, the 2-year-old boy, Ash, starts crying.

00:27So who would have thought that he's crying because of a bump on his neck and on his side.

00:33His days with his bumps are coming to an end.

00:37There are times when his bumps are wrinkled, and there are times when they're not.

00:43Like last time, he was crying because of his bumps.

00:48He was pointing his hand at a part of his bum.

00:52From Cagayan Valley, the family traveled to Manila to have Ash operated on.

00:58Ash's father, Hill, was willing to do anything to support his son's treatment.

01:06But he's only earning P500 per day as a truck driver.

01:25That's why they approached the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

01:28And we immediately asked Ash to see a pediatric surgeon.

01:33Our diagnosis is cystic hygroma.

01:37It's an abnormality in the development of colon or lymph nodes.

01:42So instead of a small colon, it grew and became cystic.

01:47There are two treatments for cystic hygroma.

01:51Either we inject a medicine to shrink and remove the cystic.

01:59Or we remove the cystic by surgery.

02:03The Kapuso family wanted to help Ash with his operation.

02:08I asked for help to have the baby operated on.
