NU survives FEU to stay unblemished in UAAP Season 87 women’s volley  The NU Lady Bulldogs aced an early test as the defending champs came back from a 1-2 set disadvantage to claim a 25-15, 23-25, 24-26, 25-23, 15-8 win against the FEU Lady Tamaraws at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, staying perfect at 3-0 in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament.  Alyssa Solomon made sure NU wouldn't break in FEU's brave act as she pumped 23 points on 19 attacks and four blocks all the while logging four excellent digs. 00:04The leading Bulldogs are now at 3-0. We have Coach Sherry Meneses, Alain Solomon, Bella Belen, and Bansal Enzo.

00:13Coach Sherry, congratulations pretty swiftly. You were tested for the first time this season by the Referee's Office.

00:18So, your thoughts about your team's resiliency?

00:21We remember that you trained 2-1 in sets. What can you say about their resiliency?

00:27For me, I expected that the Referee's Office will really tender them this year.

00:36We are ready for any situation, whether we win or lose.

00:41Composure should always be there.

00:44Because, of course, there are a lot of teams that really want to beat the A&E.

00:52I'm thankful to the players that we were able to recover from 2-1.

00:57Of course, our team is really a senior team. They are always there at the crucial points that the team is looking for.

01:05So, we are happy that we were able to recover.

01:13So, you were down 1-2. After the 3rd set, you were in the zone in the 4th set.

01:19So, what can you say about that?

01:21You didn't give up even after the 3rd set, you were in the zone in the 4th set.

01:30We didn't want to waste our hard work in the past weeks.

01:45Since we really prepared for this FPU game, we didn't want to let it go.

01:53Thank you to Bella. You had 30 attacks, season highs, 7 service aces, 12 digs, and 4 exceptions.

02:02So, what can you say about the team's performance?

02:05It was your first time in the 5th set this season.

02:08What will you learn from this experience?

02:12For me, I'm very happy because our team fought hard.

02:16Even though we were down 2 sets, we told ourselves,

02:21until the game is not over, until the 3rd set is not over,

02:26and we learned a lot here that we can learn from the whole season.

02:32Like, our start was good,

02:36but in the next set, we lost our eagerness to win.

02:42So, we need the team's maturity.

02:49And I'm thankful to my teammates because they didn't give up.

02:54They didn't let us lose, they didn't let us win.

02:57Because it's hard when the opponent is down 2 sets.

03:00So, the pressure is on us.

03:02If the opponent wins 1 set,

03:04we just fought and we fought as a team.

03:18And especially the fact that you didn't give up

03:28For me, I think the game was good

03:31because it's just the start of the season.

03:36And it's still long, so for us,

03:40we didn't lose our drive until the set was over.

03:45Because, you know,

03:48we also practiced a lot.

03:57So, we won't stop when that happens.
