00:00The chief of CIDG himself called a vlogger who first released fake news that he was admitted to the hospital.

00:07Vaughn Aquino was the one who pointed it out.

00:13On the Facebook post of Major General Nicolás Torre III, Director of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group or CIDG,

00:20you can see the screenshot of the post of the vlogger Ernesto Jun Abines Jr.

00:24where there is a picture of Torre being admitted to the hospital bed.

00:28The screenshot of Abines' post also contains the question if Torre was admitted to the hospital.

00:34The account of Abines, where he said he posted it, does not appear now when searched on Facebook.

00:39But according to Torre, the picture is fake.

00:43I do really feel harassed and violated in that picture.

00:46That's why I told them to find out where the hospital is.

00:50I went to the hospital and made a photo.

00:54Most probably, it's a real photo that was printed on my face.

00:57The person has a double chin.

00:59Torre said that this caused him to worry about his family and acquaintances.

01:04Torre filed a complaint of cyber libel against the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group.

01:08How are you, friends, acquaintances, and relatives abroad?

01:12What happened to you? Are you in a bad state?

01:16This is very foul.

01:17After securing a search warrant in court,

01:20the ACG and CIDG were invited to Abines' house in Cebu City yesterday.

01:25According to the ACG, they conducted a forensic examination

01:29and took Abines' electronic devices to get additional evidence and analysis.

01:35Torre challenged Abines to file a counter-affidavit.

01:38The problem with these bloggers is that they don't want to write,

01:42they don't want to sign their claims so that we can answer them properly.

01:47I really don't want to dignify those kinds of accusations.

01:51Tomorrow or the following days,

01:53Torre will formally file a complaint against Article 154

01:57or Unlawful Use of Means of Publication and Unlawful Utterances of Revised Penal Code

02:02in Relation to Cybercrime Prevention Act against Abines.

02:05We are still trying to get Abines' statement.
