00:00Here at Access Cornwall, we're a community interest company that helps people with disabilities

00:10and health conditions get out and about and enjoy all the amazing things that Cornwall

00:14has to offer.

00:16Our amazing team of staff and volunteers, all with lived disabilities, go around to

00:20venues across Cornwall to help them improve their accessibility.

00:24Every year our team get out and about around Cornwall to review places all around the Duchy

00:29to find out how accessible they are.

00:32We can tell you if a place has good wheelchair access, we can tell you if a cafe has a quiet

00:37spot or a hearing loop so people with hearing loss can enjoy a conversation.

00:41And we can also tell you if attractions have support for families with neurodivergent children.

00:46We cover the whole range of needs.

00:49But none of this is useful unless people know where they can go with accessible needs.

00:55That's why we want to create a guide about accessible amazing places in Cornwall including

01:00inspiring places to visit and important accessibility information.

01:05We want to make a printed guide for those who can't access anything online so that more

01:11people can be free to visit places.

01:15And that's why we need your help with this crowd funder.

01:19Printed guides are a ticket to freedom for family days out like visits to cafes and other

01:24venues across Cornwall for the whole family with any access needs you need.

01:28We need to raise £20,000 to pay for the staff and volunteers to visit places and get out

01:34and about.

01:35Also to design the new guides, update them and to print 10,000 copies to go out and around

01:41around shops, cafes and attractions all around Cornwall to reach as many people as possible.

01:48Your support makes a huge difference.

01:50Many of the people we support are trapped indoors and don't feel confident to go out

01:55to many of the places that we all take for granted.

01:59Places like cafes where we can meet friends or gardens where people can enjoy nature.
