00:00The most important holiday of the year is coming.

00:03So, the king asked his loyal helper Merlin

00:06to make sure nothing can ruin the celebration.

00:10However, the following day, Merlin received an anonymous letter

00:13claiming that the royal jewels had been stolen

00:16and they knew where to look for them.

00:18The thing is, the young princess Meredith cares a lot about these jewels

00:23and without them, she won't attend the main ball.

00:26In the letter, there was only one sentence.

00:29Only these potent creatures can help you.

00:32Can you guess where to look for the jewels?

00:43The letter was clearly anonymous, but the author used the pseudonym Dracula.

00:48The letter is written in red ink, which looks pretty much like blood.

00:53Seems like the vampires were after the jewels.

00:58Merlin realized he had no time to lose

01:00and headed to the woods where supposedly vampires lived.

01:04He rode his horse for a couple of hours

01:06and stumbled upon a seemingly forlorn castle.

01:34When Merlin entered the castle,

01:36he didn't spot anything on the first floor.

01:39Then he saw two different stairs leading to the east and west aisles.

01:43Which one is safe to climb?

01:46Look, some of the stairs on the western staircase are broken.

01:50Merlin should use the eastern stairs.

01:55Once he climbed the stairs, he saw a room with inviting light.

01:59He heard laughter and someone speaking.

02:01He entered the room and saw four people.

02:04One of them must be a vampire.

02:28The guy sitting at the table is reflecting on himself.

02:33but he doesn't look like one.

02:35He's wearing a blue gown,

02:37so technically he's a vampire,

02:39The guy sitting at the table is reflected in the mirror right in front of him,

02:43so the real vampire is the blonde lady.

02:46Plus, look at her glass.

02:48She's drinking blood.

02:52Merlin came up to the blonde lady and showed her the letter.

02:55She instantly stood up,

02:57winked at Merlin,

02:58and invited him to follow her.

03:00They entered another room,

03:02and the vampire lady said,

03:04I'm Isolde, and this is my playroom.

03:07If you want to get the royal jewels back,

03:10you gotta play with me.

03:12Are you into hide and seek?

03:15Boom! Isolde turned into a bat and flew away.

03:34another one on the curtains,

03:36and one more on the table.

03:38But they're all figurines,

03:40and only one of them has a trembling wing.

03:52so she said they were locked up in a safe.

03:54Isolde took Merlin to the room where the safe was,

03:57but she said he needed to guess the password.

04:23Merlin headed back to his home kingdom.

04:28he hid the jewels in the king's safe.

04:30When the celebration day finally came,

04:32the king opened the safe and got terrified.

04:45There's a diamond missing from the crown,

04:47but Merlin brought it back a perfectly untouched crown,

04:50so somebody from the royal staff must have stolen this diamond.

04:55Very few people knew the password for the safe.

04:58It was Henry, the housekeeper,

05:00Jack, the royal counselor,

05:02and Merlin.

05:03We all know who Merlin is.

05:05The king called the three men to question each of them.

05:08The king asked if they had opened the safe to look at the jewels.

05:11Henry said he never knew the crown with the diamonds was in the safe.

05:15Jack said that he'd been away running some royal errands the previous day,

05:19so he couldn't have stolen anything.

05:22Merlin said he'd spent the previous day

05:24preparing for the big day together with the queen.

05:27Who's guilty?

05:38While Merlin and Jack's versions seem plausible,

05:40Henry's version seems a bit off.

05:43The king never mentioned the crown.

05:45He only asked about the jewels,

05:47but Henry gave himself away.

05:49He's guilty!

05:52Henry couldn't deny he was guilty,

05:54so he had to confess that he pawned the diamond as he needed the money.

05:59The king couldn't go to the pawnshop to retrieve the valuable stone,

06:02so he sent Merlin to do that.

06:05When Merlin arrived at the pawnshop,

06:07he asked the owner, Mr. Juleson,

06:09whether he bought any gems in the last few days.

06:13Mr. Juleson said he bought three large stones

06:15and showed them to Merlin.

06:17Can you guess which one is the real royal diamond?

06:30Even though at first glance these three gems look the same,

06:33there is a small mark on one of them.

06:50All the people of the kingdom went to the festival,

06:52where they merrily danced and laughed.

06:56All of a sudden, the town got covered by a huge dark cloud.

07:01Bam! Out of nowhere, a wicked witch appeared,

07:04took the princess, and carried her away on her magic broom.

07:09She took the princess to a spooky forest and left her alone.

07:14Luckily, the princess had a magic pendant

07:16that could help her find her way back.

07:18The princess touched the pendant,

07:20and three spirit animals appeared.

07:23A butterfly, a hawk, and a caterpillar.

07:41you might have noticed that at the festival,

07:43there were a lot of kingdom's blazons,

07:46all of them having a butterfly as their main symbol.

07:50Also, the princess has a butterfly embroidered on her dress.

07:55So her kingdom's spirit animal is the butterfly,

07:58and she should follow it.

08:02On her way home, the princess stumbled upon one more witch.

08:07She didn't seem evil.

08:08On the contrary, she invited the princess to her house

08:11and offered her a drink.

08:13The witch told her she needed to choose between the three drinks.

08:18The thing was that only one of the drinks was not poisoned.

08:22The drinks were tea with sugar,

08:25a cappuccino,

08:26and hot chocolate.
