00:55The meeting was adjourned then abandoned as residents raged about controversial bylaws

01:00requiring paid permits for residents to keep some vehicles on their properties, which prompted

01:06the seizure of three cars from one property, plus the approval of a waste facility in Hampton

01:11Park.

01:12Decisions made by administrators who ran the council before November's election.

01:27The new mayor wouldn't speak on camera today, instead releasing a statement saying he was

01:32incredibly disappointed with last night's threatening behaviour, adding, I understand

01:37there is a real frustration over the past five years under administration.

01:42We're looking forward to listening and representing our community.

01:45However, last night's behaviour is not the way to go about this.

01:48They've had enough.

01:49They want to be heard.

01:50They don't feel like they were properly consulted.
