00:00MAHB shares have been sold at the price of RM6.80 to RM7.70 per unit, resulting in an income of RM102 million for the division of KWSP dividends in 2023.

00:18The performance of MAHB shares that surpassed the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index of 11.47% is the main factor of this strategy.

00:31The accusation that KWSP has suffered losses from this sale is baseless.

00:40This is clearly rejected by KWSP through its final statement on 12 February 2025.

00:47Based on this statement, it is clear that KWSP has recorded profits from the sale of MAHB shares

00:57and recorded an income of RM63.48 billion for financial participants on 31 December 2023.

01:10With that, it has managed to secure dividends of 5.5% for conventional deposits and 5.40% for sharia deposits.

01:21Overall, since 2014, the total income from active trading and MAHB dividend collection has reached RM650 million.

01:33The sale of MAHB shares and the termination of MAHB dividend collection this year are two different investments,

01:43i.e. from the investment consultant and from the department responsible for managing the investment.

01:51Until the announcement of the Sukurela or VGO offer on 15 May 2024 in Busan, Malaysia,

01:59the activity of MAHB shares by the listed shareholder is proceeding according to its mandate to generate returns for KWSP members.
