Children don't get enough outdoor play, quality family time, and nutritional snacks – according to their parents.
A poll of 1,000 mums and dads of kids aged three to 10 revealed what they think their little ones are often missing out on, with time in nature topping the list (29 per cent).
Fruit and veg (24 per cent), chores (27 per cent), and one-to-one attention (18 per cent) also featured.
And as many as seven in 10 claim they struggle to make sure their child is getting the right amount of everything they need on a weekly basis - due to busy schedules and children's fussiness.
A spokesperson for kids' fruit smoothie brand GoGo squeeZ, which commissioned the research, said: “We believe that nourishing kids with the right foods is key to helping them thrive. "

00:00How did I not see that?
00:07I do think as parents, sometimes we do put that pressure on ourselves.
00:12I think when it comes to nutrition, particularly if you have fussy eaters, you're like worried
00:17about, oh, have they got enough?
00:18Have they eaten enough?
00:19I suppose there is a bit of guilt sometimes when if they're eating one or two bad meals
00:22in a row and you feel like they haven't had enough fruit or veg.
00:28Arthur's challenged us today to try out the formula for filled kids with Go Go Squeeze.
00:34I'm going to win.
00:35I'm going to win.
00:36I'm going to win.
00:37This is the lunchbox challenge.
00:38Ready, steady, go, go, go!
00:39If he ever has a packed lunch, you always do it for him, so you know what he wants.
00:47When I put them grapes in their packed lunchboxes, I always cut them in half.
00:52I think it's quite difficult to get a nutritional snack on the go.
00:55Yeah, I do agree with you.
00:57Even things like, you know, on the way to like an after-school club or even after school,
01:02before school, it is hard just to find something nutritional, like with that balance.
01:06Have you just eaten the sandwich?
01:10Right, let's present to Arthur each of our lunchboxes and then are you going to say who's
01:16the winner?
01:17Blueberries and strawberries.
01:18I've got you a lovely little nutritional Go Go Squeeze pouch.
01:22Mummy!
01:23Yay!
01:24How well do you know me?
01:28What's my favourite dinner?
01:29Steak.
01:30Yes!
01:31That's a fast dinner.
01:32You should catch up as a family and chat and that time is time to sort of like...
01:37Put the phones away.
01:38Put the phones away and have a conversation.
01:40What is my favourite sport?
01:42Football.
01:43I think that's a draw.
01:45This is the nature challenge.
01:47You've got to find the spade.
01:49Yep.
01:50Yep.
01:51The toy strawberry.
01:52Yep.
01:53Football.
01:54And a paper clip.
01:55Okay.
01:57I cheated.
01:58Ah!
01:59Sometimes you can just sort of fall into a routine of like sticking a telly on, but I
02:04think as long as you mix it up.
02:06We do this over a weekend, we're like, what should we do?
02:08What should we do?
02:09And I think as soon as you get out in the fresh air, even if it's for like 15, 20 minutes,
02:14you just feel better for it.
02:15It makes you feel better, yeah.
02:16Yay!
02:17It's a draw.
02:18It's a draw.
02:19Today has been really nice.
02:20I think sometimes just setting that time aside just for quality family time, it is nice isn't
02:25it?
02:26Yeah, I agree.
02:27I think as long as you do your best and give them your time, you've done all you can.
