00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development quickly delivered services to the public as part of the celebration of their anniversary

00:19Following the order of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to digitalize the delivery of services,
00:26the Department of Social Welfare and Development created the Harmonized Electronic License and Permit Systems, or HELPS.
00:34This means that the registration and licensing process of the Social Welfare and Development Agencies, or SWADA,
00:41will be accelerated to implement government programs and services.
00:46The application of the SWADA will be easier for them to get the license and reputation to operate as a SWADA.
00:59Aside from the operation of the SWADA, it will also be easier to get the travel clearance of minors who will travel abroad with the help of the DSWD HELPS.
01:10And because they will get the permit online, the minors will surely be protected against child trafficking
01:17because they will be closely monitored by the DSWD, just like the government agencies.
01:23And that we have also coordinated with relevant government agencies because we wanted to make sure
01:30that the minors who will travel abroad with the permit will return to the Philippines after their travel.
01:41This is to make sure that they will not be subject to cases of child trafficking.
01:47The DSWD HELPS was launched yesterday, along with the anniversary of the government where PBBM will lead the so-called activity.
