00:00I'm a shopaholic and I love shopping. Retail sector in Dubai is so exciting,

00:05so I just keep, you know, like monitoring what's happening in the retail sector.

00:13My typical day starts early morning with morning prayers and then, you know, like I do my morning

00:20rituals of reading Quran and, you know, like calling my mother, making sure she's fine,

00:26if she needs anything and then I start my job at 8.30 and then, you know, like workers,

00:32you know, very exciting because what we do is really amazing, you know, like promoting Dubai

00:37and I've been in the government actually for over two decades now and I'm so, you know, like proud

00:44about all what has been achieved in Dubai, all what women have been able to actually

00:51achieve in this city, in this country and I'm really thankful to all our leadership for all

00:57the opportunities they are giving women to achieve and, you know, like be there in different fields,

01:04in different, you know, positions to achieve what we have been able to. So that's, you know, like,

01:14you know, like at work, you know, like we are a very, you know, like family-oriented

01:18organization. We work together on, you know, different projects. I'm working on various

01:25niche marketing projects to, you know, like promote and attract Dubai for different, you know,

01:32like wedding celebration, for different offerings of Dubai. So that's my typical day at work.

01:39Of course, time passes very fast because there's so much to do and then I go back home, you know,

01:46I do my different, you know, like activities, go to gym every other day, make sure I take care of

01:54myself as well. Shopping is something I love, so between time to time I do also go to shopping.

01:59Some other thing which I'm involved in, like the Dubai Jewelry Group, so that's

02:03also a very exciting project I'm part of for some time and we have been able, you know,

02:10and we have been promoting Dubai as a city of gold for over two decades and Dubai as a jewelry

02:16destination of the world and with that there's so much we are actually preparing and working on and

02:23very exciting initiatives which is also in the pipeline to promote Dubai again as a destination

02:31for all kinds of jewelry where people can come and explore and buy. So that's, you know, like

02:37very briefly my day. So I have a very big family. My mother has 29 grandchildren and I have 29

02:45nieces and nephews, you know, and they keep our life busy, you know, and excited and full of,

02:51you know, like activity. Family and home is very important and I make sure that I spend time and

02:58put efforts to make sure that everyone gets together. We make sure that there is, you know,

03:02like family activities happening every weekend so we can all get together and do different

03:07activities and as you sure will agree with me that with 29 nieces and nephews there's so many

03:13birthdays, so many celebrations every month happening in the house. So that's another

03:19thing which also keeps me busy because I love actually, you know, like being involved in

03:23festival and events almost half of my life. I really enjoy organizing events and celebration

03:30and I do a lot of that. I look also at what's new in the market, you know, like I'm a shopaholic

03:36and I love shopping. Retail sector in Dubai is so exciting so I just keep, you know, like

03:44monitoring what's happening in the retail sector, what's new, you know, being a shopaholic and being

03:49somebody who's been involved in that sector for some time. So I make sure that I'm updated on

03:54what's happening, what's new, what needs to be done, how can we make, you know, and this also

03:59helps me back in the, you know, in the world to advise the right teams, you know, what to do

04:05to make Dubai more and more attractive. So that's pretty much and I love cooking. Cooking is one of

04:11the hobbies I have and I enjoy, you know, cooking and exploring, you know, like doing different

04:16dishes, learning new recipes, creating my own recipes. So that's something also I really enjoy

04:22to do. I mainly do savories, you know, so I love doing that. I'm not good in baking because I

04:27believe, you know, to be a good baker you really have to have that bond with your oven which I

04:33don't. So yeah, so I like cooking everything except baking. So I do, yeah, I do that. Emirati

04:39women and every woman actually, you know, we are blessed, you know, we are blessed by Allah to have

04:47been able to do whatever we do. You know, we are blessed as, you know, daughters, as mothers,

04:54as sisters, as wives. So I wish everyone happiness. I wish everyone to be healthy,

05:04happy and successful in whatever they do. So just love yourself and make sure that, you know,

05:10you are taking care of yourself so you are able to take care of others.
