00:07You have to know your style, you have to know what you like, you don't have to copy anybody else's style,

00:14and you have to share it to your designer of what you like.

00:17Listen to his suggestions and then you'll get the perfect wedding dress.

00:20The second, you have to know your budget.

00:23You have to tell your designer your budget so he can work around your budget.

00:27If you're going to buy materials here in UAE, there's a lot of affordable materials here in Rola, in Burdubay, in Satwa, in Naif,

00:37that are very, you know, that are very high quality for a wedding gown.

00:41So there's a lot of cheap materials there from the fabric, from the beadings, from the tools, from anywhere, from the bridal accessories.

00:50There's a lot of high quality but affordable resources here.

00:56Here in UAE, couture is really a big thing.

00:58Here, you can really learn things that you cannot learn from our place.

01:04Wedding gowns is really one of the best market for couture, for couturiers.

01:09In business side, there's a lot of money.

01:10Back in the Philippines, I used to design wedding gowns.

01:13Very simple, very elegant, very western.

01:16Here in UAE, it's a new thing.

01:17Wedding gowns is very extravagant, very couture, very detailed, very fully beaded dresses.

01:24So it's quite different from ours.

01:26Me, I get it from movies and music.

01:29I listen to Lana Del Rey, some Lana Del Rey music, and then I can imagine of what she's wearing.

01:34That's the time, you know, I start sketching.

01:37And from movies, I love the dresses from the movie Crimson Peak.

01:42And then I love Audrey Hepburn movies.

01:45I love the elegant silhouette and I love the detailed thing in the dress.

01:51I used to combine colors, the weird colors, not the typical combination of colors.

01:57That's my thing.

01:57So I am both wearable and artistic.

02:00For me, no, there's nothing particular thing that I don't like for a wedding gown.

02:05Maybe just the showy type, maybe just the very see-through type, and the very outrageous one.

02:11But for me, it's really up to the bride.

02:14If it makes them happy, why not?

02:15You have to listen to your bride.

02:17You have to understand what she like.

02:19You have to get her ideas and infuse it with your ideas to have your perfect combination.

02:24And both of you will be happy.

02:26I would love to paint again.

02:27I miss painting.

02:28I miss the visual art world.

02:31My background is visual arts, but my passion is really the fashion designing.
