It had been a week since the shocking trade that sent Luka Doncic to the Lakers and brought Anthony Davis to the Mavericks, but AD did finally make his debut for Dallas on Saturday. And he was awesome! ...until he got hurt in the 3rd quarter of their win over the Rockets. K&C recap his debut and discuss if he indeed could miss the rest of the season with his groin injury.

00:00I had never seen, I've seen Luca like that where he's like, I've been waiting so long
00:22to go show everybody I've been waiting so long to show. And you know what? It was almost
00:27as if Jason Kidd has been whispering in his ear all week. Hey, when you show up, you got
00:32to, you got to make this crowd love you. You got to give them a reason. And when he walked
00:37out onto the court and start the first play that went to Gafford, I was like, Oh my gosh,
00:42he can pass from the post. What are we doing right now? And then you just started to see
00:46more and more of his offensive arsenal. But Kevin, they finished the game with 18 blocks,
00:5318 blocks. Like that was, I was, everybody was committed to defense in this game. That whole
01:00first half I was like, okay. And then I tweeted it around somewhere in the middle of the first
01:06quarter. And I said, if he could just stay and everybody replied back, he can't. And I was
01:16like, yeah, no, but which is, which is interesting because you know, like he's played more games
01:22in the last three years than Luca, but he has been, we didn't get all the way through
01:27three quarters. He had scored 26 points before you, before we go there, PJ looked like he
01:34was able to do some different stuff defensively too, because of what Anthony Davis provided
01:39as, as the four. And so it looked like PJ could. And so anytime the smaller guys, the
01:45forwards and guards went to the basket, PJ was on them blocking shots. It felt like,
01:50okay, what Nico said was right. They really want to focus on the defensive end of the
01:55court. And it looked like they were a real team defense.
