00:00More than 1,000 housing units will be built by the government for informal settlers in Iligan City.

00:15The local government of Iligan City has already agreed to a settlement.

00:24for the construction of houses for informal settlers.
00:27More than 1,000 housing units will be built in different resettlement areas in the city.
00:33I am supporting the people of Iligan who have no houses and we will not stop from here.
00:42Our target in Iligan is to stop the informal settlers who are finally qualified to live in Iligan.
00:54The DSWD first approved a P242 million fund through the Corn Shelter Assistance Program
01:03to meet the needs of the residents in the city.
01:06At present, only P166 million is remaining in the fund after the construction of many houses
01:14including the victims of the Bagyong earthquake in 2011.
01:18Our target for this particular area in Northern Mindanao is for those who are vulnerable
01:26and in this affected sector to be able to reach their homes.
01:33As for those who will be able to go home.
