00:00An experienced Highway Patrol officer identified this vehicle just outside of Gunnedah, travelling east.
00:06He pursued this vehicle for a short time with the vehicle reaching excessive speeds
00:10and as they approached the outskirts of the town, a motorcyclist has left a service station on the edge of town
00:16and driven into the path of a stolen vehicle.
00:20The motorcyclist was hit at speed and ejected from the motorcycle
00:24with the pursuit being terminated and police providing assistance to him.
00:28Unfortunately, this male died at the scene.
00:31The offending vehicle has continued through Gunnedah,
00:34been re-engaged in another pursuit east of Gunnedah for another 26 kilometres
00:38before being stopped just outside a township called Carroll where the vehicle has crashed.
00:43Three 14-year-old male offenders were arrested at the scene and have been conveyed to Tamworth Police Station.
00:49The incident and the actions of these 14-year-olds is very concerning.
00:52A 42-year-old man going about his business has been killed
00:56and the sections of three youths have been lost.
