00:00All right, Carver, hi, give me this rookie list of guys that have made it to the title
00:05game.
00:06All right, so Jaden Daniels will be the sixth rookie quarterback to reach the conference
00:13championship game.
00:14Now, the previous five went 0-5, obviously nobody has been able to do it.
00:20Now, who is on that illustrious list?
00:231999, Sean King for Tampa, 2004, Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers, 2008, Joe Flacco, Ravens, 2009,
00:35Mark Sanchez with the Jets, and then two years ago, 2022, three years at this point, Brock
00:42Purdy with the Niners when they lost that game in Philly to the Eagles.
00:47So Jaden Daniels, the sixth, with an opportunity and could be the first one to actually get
00:54it done and punch his ticket there.
00:56Well, you know, you can sit here and think about all those guys.
01:02They all had a shot and, you know, there were a couple of them, I think, that were exciting.
01:07I don't think anyone's as exciting as this kid.
01:11I mean, honestly, like, this guy stands out like a sore thumb when it comes to his talent,
01:18Mike.
01:19Like, what we're watching here, like, first of all, I have never in my life seen a guy,
01:25I really haven't, who would you say is the closest thing that resembles someone that
01:32led six comebacks and they scored in the last 10 seconds or in overtime to win a game and
01:37also threw a Hail Mary 60 yards for a 30.
01:40Like one guy in the NFL that you've ever seen do that.
01:45Like who is such a, you know, cardiac comeback quarterback that you can immediately mention
01:52his name right now that he's done that, that you've seen anyone do that six times.
01:56I've never seen anyone do it.
01:58So I think he's better than every single one of those guys you just mentioned, including
02:03my favorite Ben Roethlisberger.
02:07I would say there's no doubt that at this point, you know, you think about, think about
02:12some of these guys though that got there, you know, you want to say the word, and I
02:16know that some people don't like this term, game manager, you know, just kind of, you
02:22know, they weren't the real reason the team got there.
02:24You know, you can say that about Sanchez, I think you could say that about Flacco that
02:28year.
02:29Flacco ended up winning a Superbowl years later and he was a total badass doing it.
02:34But that first year that they made the title game, you know, he kind of just pushed the
02:38offensive long.
02:39They had a great defense, even Ben's first year, you know, this, I mean, the Steelers
02:44didn't ask Ben to do the stuff he would eventually be asked to do down the road in his first
02:50year.
02:51It was just drive the car.
02:53Just don't crash it.
02:54Just drive the car.
02:55Daniels has done more than all these guys in his first year in terms of he's elevated
03:02the entire franchise.
03:03Those guys walked into situations with ready-made teams and they were rookie quarterbacks taking
03:10their team to title.
03:11This kid has elevated this entire franchise to new heights and got them to this spot.
03:17I think he's got a shot.
03:20You know, a thing that stands out to me about it is, is the athleticism.
03:25I think what we're seeing is right before our very eyes that nowadays, here we are in
03:32We're seeing athletes come along that are faster, quicker, jump higher, do things that
03:42we've never seen before.
03:44People think that they're all the same.
03:47These quarterbacks through the years and they're not.
03:49They do get better.
03:51They do get quicker.
03:52They do get stronger and faster and they are smarter.
03:59They're different.
04:00We haven't seen an athlete come along like this.
04:03Now people said that Richardson was, you know, this pure, you know, stud athlete, the size
04:10and everything about him, right?
04:12I don't agree with that.
04:13I think he's obviously ripped, but I think this kid is the most athletic thing I've ever
04:20seen at the position and he's as skinny as a rail.
04:25He's got no meat on his bones whatsoever, but it doesn't matter because nobody can catch
04:30him.
04:31Like he's literally breaking ankles and he throws ropes.
04:36He's got it all.
04:37And listen, I will say this again.
04:39Like there isn't even a comparison for me with Caleb Williams.
04:44Caleb Williams to me is the prototypical big strong arm quarterback that the NFL lives
04:50for and that they crave and that they draft.
04:54This kid is so different from him, body, weight, size, strength, speed, everything.
05:04He's so different from Caleb Williams.
05:06And to me, he's so much better than Caleb Williams.
05:09It's not even funny.
05:11I think it's going to take Caleb Williams years to go to a Superbowl if ever.
05:17And this kid I think is going to Superbowl in two weeks.
