00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines are now in charge of calculating the amount of foreign power to be used against the country.

00:11So if we look at the entire expanse of the country, covering the different instruments of national power, and start connecting the dots,

00:20there seems now to be a deliberate and calculated move to map out the country by a foreign power.

00:28Next are some incidents of espionage in the Philippines.

00:34For example, a Chinese national and two Filipinos were caught espionaging a military base,

00:41a government office, and malls.

00:44Some of their high-tech equipment was confiscated.

00:47Authorities also added several times to the recovery of underwater drones

00:52and the possession of pecking eye, death, and birth certificates of foreigners.

00:55Just like the case of the Smiths Mayor, Alice Guo.

00:59Because of these incidents, National Security Adviser Eduardo Año urged the Congress to strengthen the law against espionage.
