00:00According to the Job Outlook Survey of the Philippine Business for Education,
00:044 out of 5 companies in the country are hiring or accepting senior high school or SHS graduates.
00:11But it turns out that there are still companies that want to hire or accept college graduates and have job experience.
00:18That's why the Department of Education or DEPEDS is helping the stakeholder and private sector to make the SHS program more viable.
00:26Education Secretary Sonny Angara encouraged that SHS graduates should be employable or easy to get a job.
00:34The Alliance of Concerned Teachers called for the curriculum of K-12 to be more appropriate for the needs of students.
00:42Education Secretary Angara encouraged that their primary goal is to change the curriculum
00:48so that it will be clearer for the students to choose their careers.
