00:00Former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista will appeal the guilty verdict against him by Sandigan Bayan for the Graff case.
00:09Through Bautista's lawyer, his client is innocent and he did not fight back.
00:14Not a single cent went to Bautista and the residents and government of Quezon City were not affected because the project is very profitable.
00:23The project is the Online Occupational Permitting and Tracking System or OOPTS of Quezon City, Algeria in 2019,
00:32which is worth more than P32 million according to the Anti-Graff Court.
00:38The project was paid in full during Bautista's time, even though many things were not going well during the OOPTS.
00:44But Bautista should have endorsed the project to the former mayor to make sure that it's going well before he paid in full.
00:54Bautista was also charged with the same crime as the former city administrator Aldrin Cunha.
00:59They were sentenced to six to ten years in prison.
01:04They were also prohibited from holding any position in the government for the rest of their lives.
01:09According to Sandigan Bayan, there is a provisional liberty for Bautista and Cunha to remain free because of their former cash bond.
01:18GMA Integrated News is trying to get the statement of Campo Ni Cunha.
