00:00Two new hearings were held in the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability

00:07regarding the spending of confidential funds of Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:12Earlier, the committee explained its contents.

00:19After the eight hearings of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability

00:24regarding the misuse of funds of the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education

00:30when it was held by Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:33The committee already had two hearings

00:36and now they have it in the House.

00:38That is House Bill No. 11192

00:41which is a far-fetched use of confidential and intelligence funds

00:46or CIFs of government agencies.

00:48And House Bill No. 11193

00:51is a far-fetched use of special disbursing officers of this fund.

00:58According to Good Government Panel Chair Joel Chua,

01:01in their hearings, they discussed the problems with the use of confidential funds

01:05which is expected to be solved once their arguments are clear.

01:10There are penalties.

01:12Aside from admins and criminal liabilities,

01:17it is also stated here that if you are proven to have violated these laws,

01:25you will have a perpetual disqualification to hold public office.

01:30Meanwhile, this Thursday, the House-Quad Committee will continue

01:34their hearings on the issue of illegal smuggling, illegal drugs,

01:38and many extrajudicial killings during the administration.

01:42According to Quadcom Lead Chair Robert Ace Barbers,

01:45they are already working on a progress report

01:47where they will recommend to file criminal and administrative cases
