00:00Oh Mick, Mick, I got him here. Yeah, you got him? Yeah, I can see his tail. What is he?
00:07It's brown. I can't really get a good visual on it just yet. Oh yeah, don't want him to
00:11go underneath that dishwasher. No, definitely don't. I think, oh yeah, it's a yellow-faced
00:16whip snake. The yellow-faced whip snake can grow up to three and a half feet in length
00:23and is found throughout mainland Australia. Mildly venomous, these snakes often turn up
00:29in people's backyards where they hunt blizzards and small frogs. Sometimes mistaken for the
00:34highly venomous eastern brown snake, the yellow-faced whip is more commonly encountered during the
00:39breeding months of November and December. Do you want to grab him before he goes under
00:45there? He's super twitchy and he's super fast and he's so small. I'm trying to get him away
00:50from me. Hey buddy. Nice catch, I was a bit worried he was going to go under that dishwasher
00:57then. Alright, let's get him in the bag before he shoots off again. Cute, isn't he? Yeah,
01:01a little fella. There you go, mate. Perfect. That was a good catch. Good spot.
