00:00First Lady Luis Liza Renata Marcos graced the Christmas tree lighting in the Baguio Mansion House.
00:06Locals had the opportunity to take a photo with the First Lady during the event.
00:10It is the first time the Baguio Mansion House will open to the public since 1908.
00:16The 9-meter-tall Christmas tree is designed with 38 stunning native Christmas lanterns or paroles.
00:22In partnership with the Department of Education, a nationwide parole-making competition was launched
00:27that has managed to collect 158 entries from high school students.
00:32The rest of the entries are on exhibit in Malacanang Palace.
00:35Winners of the parole-making competition will be announced on Sunday.
00:39Deputy Secretary Sonny Angara, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong,
00:42former DILG Secretary Benjuer Aulos and other officials were also present in the Christmas tree lighting.
00:49A colorful and dazzling firework display concluded the event.
00:53It's open to the public.
00:55Open to the public. The doors will be extended to be open until 8 o'clock every day from now on till New Year's Day.
