00:19Yes, Raffy. The latest batch of the automated counting machine or ACM that will be used in the election of 2025 in May has arrived at the warehouse of Comelec in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
00:29This machine will be used in the election of 2025. This machine has 9,680 units and it can carry seven container vans.
00:36This means that more than 110,000 machines for the election are now complete from South Korea and made by Miro Systems.
00:48According to Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia, all machines pass the hardware acceptance test while at least five percent of each batch
00:58pass the stress test. As of now, there are no major issues encountered during the test of the machine.
01:06What is noticed sometimes by their employees is the problem with the headset or earphones or the jamming of the paper in the machine.
01:16There are employees of Miro and Comelec to address these problems.
01:21In December, the source code review is expected to be completed for the systems that will run on the machine until the votes are transmitted.
01:30Comelec will obtain international certification in accordance with the law to ensure that the systems will be properly used.
01:37Miro Systems agrees that the machines will run smoothly. According to Comelec, they are on schedule for all preparations for the election.
